So glad you are back to making videos Ian. I watched you for years on the 4x4 show on the channel I wont mention. I've always been in Awe of you unique work. That DAsh doesnt surprise me at all coming from you. It will be a great addition to this Willy Wago
Love the dash, I’ve always appreciate your thinking out of the box. Instead of always going to the high 💵 name brand stuff you make your own, keeps the creative juices flowing. Keep up the awesomeness bro. 👍👌😎
Over 25 years in a jeep club I took out the 68 mustang seats that were in my CJ and put in Cerullo sport seats Spent many hours in the seats on the trail and 100 of thousand miles on the hiway Still my favorite sport seat out there Head rests are so important Got rear ended in my 66 chevy truck My head whipped back hitting the back of the cab hurting my neck instantly with nothing there That was 1997 my neck still hurts to this day Ever hit a rock on the trail that just stops the vehicle I have too many to count
Hey Ian, I just started my Wagon build this past week as well. To answer your question on the previous video, the Willys has chipboard panels that cover the interior sides. They are flat and very simple to replicate. This stage of my build is going to use leaf springs with Dana 44's from a 70's Scout, Early 70's SBC 400 with a Dana Spicer 18 with O/D, riding on 33's. I should have the frame into powder next week. In the future, I have a more capable build using a 2006 LJ frame and floor pan with GR Tracer suspension, 40's and LS. I'll use this chassis for a flat fender Willys down the road. Cheers! Eric
You mention your pile of jeeps pretty often. Can you make a video walk around of your jeep collection and what you have planned for each? I’d love to see what’s waiting in the wings.
Thanks for the idea! We have been planning that for a little while I want to get the shop a little more "presentable" than it is right now...but it is coming
Ian, I have been watching you and jessi create amazing things since way back always amazed at how you create functional art out of nothing love how your latest creation is turning out, I have my own project a 74 Bronco that I am slowly bringing back to life in my driveway, keep up the good work
The only "real way" is with destructive testing or X ray inspection. But for car building you can tell by reading the heat effected zone, and by reading how the weld sits on the material.
@@BigTireGarage I really think these boxes are going to take the market by storm. I mean, you have the build quality and material quality, but at that price point, it is going to be huge. At least I hope they stand up over time, since to be honest, they are new. I also want them to come out with top boxes and hutch options as well as different color choices. Red and black are sooooo played out. Oh, plus the Warranty and FREE SHIPPING! What!?
Such a cool build!
I don’t know about most people but when I think off-road, Toyota Prius comes to mind.
Stainless tube dash is awesome, incredible fab skills. Love the videos!
Glad you like them!

Loving this build so far
Perfect seat position, feet on peddles, arms to steering wheel, head room for hair!
Hair clearance is THE most important measurement. 😂
Time to build an all electric off road monster...
Its on the list I have been looking at some used Tesla drive units

Great video! Thanks! Nice dash btw! Love the looks of it.
Thanks for watching!
Man you did again 👍🏻. Is there a way to tell if you got good penetration on your welds? And raising a glass with you cheers
