OMG BIBIM means to mix the ingredients into one bowl!!! :((((( Its bomb that way with the red sauce and sesame light brown oil (he said its cold omg) and then he opens the red packet and smells it - it there a smell?....then he eats the veggies with chopsticks with a separate woof of meat and then of the egg....and then a rice...Killing me Im dying of agony just watching.
‘Bibimbap’ means mixed rice with other side dishes like veges, eggs, meat.
So you had to put your rice and that red sauce(gochujang = korean red chili paste) in the vege+egg bowl and mix it. 😂😂

Bibimbap is a food that is mixed with vegetables, eggs, and seasoning (red pepper paste) in rice.
It's more delicious if you mix it well. But I'm glad you enjoyed it!!
I am Korean American.. I have always had family to explain different dishes to me... but many korean dishes are not easy to understand. I applaud you for trying new dishes!! Definitely try mixing it next time though!! 😊

The best comparison I heard for Japan and South Korea is that they value politeness but aren't friendly while USA , specifically the south is that they're friendly but not so polite
When I traveled to South Korea for business,30% of my meals were Bibimbap. Love it!
You guys need to dump the rice and all the side dishes, sauce into one bowl then mix it all up. I just screamed at the screen to tell you guys not to eat it separately.

People bumping into each other is a culture thing. The difference is that ppl don't react to it in Korea. America is like "u TOUCHED me?" Respecting physical boundaries is so important in the US because there is more violence and fear between people. So it's just a culture thing. There's a little more trust and safety in Korea that allows for ppl to not gaf about it. Can't judge either culture bc all culture develops for their own reasons and history.

Next time (if there is a next time that is) dump the rice in the bigger bowl with all the veggies. Squeeze the gochujang in and mix it up. Then enjoy. It’ll taste better cus you get everything in one bite

Be wary tourists can be had or taken advantage when using taxis. Non-natives stick out like a sore thumb and it doesn't help if you don't speak Korean.
Bruh I couldn't watch this vid bc I was so triggered by the way ya'll were eating that bibimbap LOL Order it again and next time, put all the rice into that bowl with the eggs and meat and veggies, then pour the red sauce (gochujang) all over it and mix everything really well with your spoon til you have what looks like a red mess.... like it might not look appetizing but boiiii trust me once you eat a spoonful of that you'll be in heaven.
I am Korean-american but every time I visit Korea I use cab. The cab fare is very very low compare to America.
Hey don’t worry guys I think when I tried Bibimbap I think I didn’t mixed mines too without realizing haha. I notice pm some videos I saw of foreigners or tourists living or traveling in South Korea, some places either cater to only natives or just don’t want foreigners in their buildings. I remember hearing in TH-cam of s story of a group of friends who wanted to go to a club & were playing western music but it was a “no foreigners allowed place” & didn’t allow the group in because some were foreigners.
