This video inspired me to go out and build my own board. And boom! Got the whole thing done super quick. Thank you for the easy to follow instructions.
Awesome video. Best design I’ve seen. I like the details like the grip tape. Under support & bumpers. I also like the pvc pipe. I’ve been using a two foot 2x4 on a foam roller, but I’m going to build your version to take to my dojo
24-36" long typically, a bit wider than your feet are long. There's no specific size, small boards are more difficult to use than larger ones with the same size roller.
Nice video. I always wander what could be done to keep a balance board from running away from me and slipping away. Bumpers takes care of that problem. Now I am wondering all,the ways I can make chances to adjust from beginner level for a person with poor balance to advance balance. How would different variations affect the balance board such as dististance apart the bumpers are, size of bumpers, size/diameter of tube to balance the board, how to put a track on board and tube, different levels of track designed to beginner to advance, different material for tub that goes under the board to change the affect different ways from easy to hard level, and any other possable variations I had not though of, but others. Also as a person becomes more advamce what could the do to make the balance board work in other directions besides just moving forward and backward. Such as tilt of board while using. Finally an observation that you may like. When cutting the tape to different shape and lengths like you were trying to do in the video. If you take a wax pencil/ crayon, I bet you could draw a long on the board, with tape on it, so together the shape in length you would like it to look and have on the board fairly quickly. Just by drawing over the two when you have the tape on the board. Then you can see where you would like the tape to be cut, direction of cuts, and placement of tape when you finaly secure the tape to the board. Also with this method I bet the artest in you can allow you to explore all types of design and layout in the board with the tape with all types of fascinating designes which should only be limited by your imagination.

Great! The boards from the official sellers are so expensive and nothing else than a piece of wood. Thank you!
Great job in explaining in very simple terms and not to mention the safety factor as well - Thanks

Very well done mate :)
Looks good ... Any ideas on how to make a roller?
Wanted something stronger. Ended up going with a metal tube and wrapping it with rubber flooring.
Very good. Excellent job and video. Super like by Warmachine bodybuilding of garage Gym italy
Matt - what size piece of wood did you cut your board from? Looks like it was from a 4' x 2' piece of plywood - but how thick?
I think it was 24x36, half inch thick
Good tutorial!
Great tutorial! And you are gorgeous!! It would be nice have some classes with you!
Thanks! :)

Hi may I have the permission to use this video for my research paper please?
Go for it
@@MattSkalski Thank you!
Nice, what wood?
Sorry don't remember exactly..
Ben Pye Probably Pine, if you were still wondering..
Håkon Harnes Sweet, cheers man!
What type of wood did you use?
I don't remember, some type of hardwood. Basically any hardwood will do (oak, ash, poplar, etc). Plywood works fine too.
thanks buddy really helpful
great video,thanks
Genious! Thank you!
Very cool video what sort of wood did you use and how much did it cost you to build the whole thing
I don't remember what kind of wood, but the whole thing cost about $30 I think
Manawa Ruru Looks like it is pine.
Matt Skalski how much time did you spent on this projekt?
*Jettisoning* yes.
How much did this cost it's seems like a very simple tutorial and I would like to try it out😊
Around $30 I think
Matt Skalski Thank you 😊
Me gusto mucho gracias =)
What are the measurements of the boards? Please
24-36" long typically, a bit wider than your feet are long. There's no specific size, small boards are more difficult to use than larger ones with the same size roller.
Thanks.

Thanks
Do you have a template for the board you can share?
No I just winged it. You can do any shape you want, as long as it is roughly skateboard size.
do you remember the sizes?? of the woods
You can do whatever size you want.
Even the strongest PVC pipe won't do! Already tested that.
The 4" PVC pipe in the video works perfectly. I've had people 200lbs+ use it routinely with no problems.
Try a foam roller instead
noob
Nice
how long did you make the pvc pipe
36"
ok. thanks
Hi, good projec Matt, but I have a question ... what size is the table?
24-36" long typically, a bit wider than your feet are long. There's no specific size, small boards are more difficult to use than larger ones with the same size roller.
