Great insight into faith drawing Jesus aside!
You state that faith will not be necessary after we leave earth, and I understand what you are meaning. However, I read the Bible such that there always has been faith, since God has faith when He did and does anything. He spoke and the heavens and earth were created, for example. Since God is the same forever and is immutable, logically there must be some aspect of faith even in the ages to come. Apostle Paul said in 1 Cor 13 that many things will pass away, but Faith, Hope, and Love abide.
I note that the Greek word translated "abide" can mean continue, dwell, endure, be present, remain, stand. You are not the first preacher to say faith will not be necessary in the hereafter, but I believe we do not really comprehend what we shall do after the earth is renewed and God is all in all.
