- After my trip to Malaga, Spain and seeing so much of Picasso's influence, I wanted to give it a try for myself and decided to do this Picasso inspired art exercise. It was quite the art challenge and kept me on my toes!

Fun!! Definitely need to try this… and now I REALLY want to go to Spain! lol
You definitely should... For both 😂 it was amazing!
How funny! I have a black cat that does the same thing! Naughty kitties ❤
HAHA! They can't help it 😭 so cute
Picasso was always ahead of his time and reinvented his art and worked in many styles some of which became set movements, but in all of this his work still remained a picasso and can be seen as such.I think the morphed faces you created invoke Picasso's spirit but are still in your own style, because you sourced vintage faces to build from, the pieces you completed do look like pieces by you, meaning I looked at them and could tell they were by Leah,if that makes sense.(Matt)
Definitely very ahead of his time! I'm glad you think so! I was trying to maneuver that challenge as best I could. Thank you, Matt!

It was fun to explore this different style and approach with you. I was struck by how you cut apart all those images without hesitation, apparently without worrying that any cut would foreclose the possibility of another composition you might later wish you could have made with it. Do you have any advice for someone like me who tends to be meticulous but wants to work more intuitively like this?
Also, although this work was directly inspired by Picasso, it reminded me of other artists ranging from Romare Bearden and Hannah Hoch to Matthieu Bourel and Agata Rek.
Wow, what a wonderful idea! Thanks for the Inspiration!
