    Poor Sterling Marlin has been reliving that moment ever since then, and it's really sad to see. He's also suffering from Parkinson's. Stay strong Sterling!!

    When they announced that he was gone. It was as a start of terrible things that happened I lost my Dad just a couple of months later with
    Esophageal cancer, when Dale passed my Dad was never the same, he passed a few months later. RIP Dale #3 😢

      My grandpa, who was also a Earnhardt fan like me, died 3 days before Dale. My love of Nascar ended when we lost Dale. Then of course 9/11 happens and changes the world forever, that was alot to deal with for a 12 year old.

    So if you do photogrammetry we got the car speed 182mph and he came off the wall 150mph. (When you see the car sliding post impact). Now people don’t understand. Dale was killed by his own brain. When Dale struck the wall his torso decelerated with the car being it was seatbelted. While His head kept traveling at 180mph (not counting whip effect) until the spinal cord payed out max extension; where it then yanked his brain into the base of the skull. Fracturing it in a circle or ring O. - imagine tying a softball on a rope and pass the rope threw a small hole in a fish bowl. Then yank the rope pulling the softball into the base of the fish bowl. That’s literally what happened. -- i had a 175g hit in 1999 and was sedated for 3 weeks with a skull fracture of the temporal bone. (The theory is my head hit the window net so hard. Which stopped my head; preventing a basilar skull fracture or (BASE OF SKULL FRACTURE). The survival rate is 1% or less on BSF. -- another important note is airbags in street cars the #1 reason they exist is to stop basilar skull fractures. Seat containment airbags. Side curtains=Tbone impact. Dash/wheel airbag = front impact. / head rest = rear impact. You can have a basilar skull fracture from any impact, from any direction. -- the most recent I’ve seen was a family that was rear ended at 70mph. There heads whipped aft/ backwards and yanked the brain into the base of the skull. Normally you have blood, brain matter, spinal fluid erupting from the nose/ears/mouth (on the most severe cases I’ve seen. But most are blood/spinal fluid pouring out nose, ears, & mouth.

      According to an EMT, Earnhardt no longer had a face after this accident.

      @@darrylturner2611 Not true......I saw one of his confirmed autopsy photos. He simply looked asleep while on the table. The gruesome scene was in the car immediately after the fact. His helmet was dislodged somewhat and he had blood from his ears, nose and mouth. Other than that, he looked normal. No swelling (died instantly).

    That belt never separated. Tommy Probst, the firefighter who got into the car, said it was never cut or separated. He eves stated that you had to really pull it in order to release it. That whole broken lap belt is a trick by Nascar, in order to protect their best interests. That car should've gone into the custody of either the Daytona Beach Police/Volusia County Sherriffs Office custody, immediately following the race, but IT NEVER DID!
    THE KIND OF RING FRACTURES TO THE BASE IF THE SKULL IS CAUSED BY THE VIOLENT WHIPPING MOTION AS SOON AS THE CAR SLAMMED INTO THE WALL.

    • @NickB1121
      @NickB1121 16 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Relax. The belt did separate. Not because of faulty design, but because it was installed hastily. Take a piece of paper, try to tear it by holding it at the edge. Then take a piece of paper and fold it in half.....then try to tear it. It will tear easier because the center point of the bend is WEAKER than the flat paper. Same applies to seatbelts. In fact, when installing a child's car seat, it tells you NOT to install the belt so that its twisted. Why? Because a twisted seatbelt creates a weak point in the belt where its easier to tear and fail. Earnhardt's seatbelt was installed with little regard for whether it was twisted or not.

    First off, Dale Jr didn't rush to the wreck sight after the wreck.
    Second, Dale was fighting to PROTECT Jr and Michael. The plan was Michael was going to run first, and Jr was going to run second. Dale was the line of defense as the plan was to push Michael Waltrip to his first career win.
    He even told Jr to stick to the plan before the race and STAY BEHIND Michael when the time came.
    Do your proper research.

    First you said there was a caution thrown and checkered flag. Not true, they raced back to the checker that day. Second, Dale Jr did not go to the site of the wreck. He was taken to hospital where his father was taken. Do your research and report the events correctly.
