Awesome vlog Karolien! A pleasure to watch 🤍🤍🤍 So many wonderful projects! I love the hand designs, especially the one with hands on hoops, very creative :) And the bangle!! It's my favourite, it's so cute
So sweet to see so much technique and so much work. I had a few years of school but now for the last two years out of school, no studio:( There's still things I can do. No forging, no casting, but I can build a billion things by sawing and filing and soldering. I just get depressed when I think of it though. I hope your videos will get me excited, will help me remember the excitement of creating:) Thanks!
I remember my first years out of school, not having all the things I got used to in school 😅 it is a priviledge to have a lot of tools, for sure, but like you said; you CAN make a billion things without it. Keep creating! 👍🏻🍀
Hiya, great work, thank you. WD40 was designed as a Water Desperser, I never could spell, it often ends up sticking. Use oil, it is perfect for the job & will last a lot longer plus doing a better job. Stay safe... Steve...
Really enjoyed watching you create! I have a question regarding your wax equipment. How useful is it to make your own rubber moulds and wax models? do you need to make your own tree or do the casters do that? I use the lost wax technique a lot and I was wondering if I might learn to make moulds and invest in heavier machinery. Thanks!
I only bought this machine (second hand) at the beginning of 2020. My opinion is to not buy this equipment too soon. I just think it is good for being able to work a little faster (since you don’t depend on another company). I don’t make my own wax trees when I bring my waxes to the casters.
Thank you so much for making these videos. I want to ask I’m passionate about jewelry making and would love it to be my career but I don’t know where to start? And is taking courses enough to start

It's great as a coating of steel and iron stuff in the shop to keep the rust monster away.
@@PatrickPoet Yes, that’s why I have it in my studio, to keep rust away. Thanks so much for the advice Stephen I will make sure to use oil instead! 👍🏻
