The "science" of Phrenology and old Ben

Phrenology was one of the weirdest and most influential theories in the history of psychiatry. For most of 19th century, many thought that they could infer the personality and even moral attitudes of an individual by the shape of his/her skull. This short excerpt from Quentin Tarantino’s movie “Django Unchained”(2012) gives a very good example of that mentality that will lead to more and more dangerous ideas about racism and degeneration.
