Play with these solid 'muscle' backed blades as golf was intended to be, and dare I say it have a superior swing that is required to hit these blades . They're great clubs! My wife bought me the ProCombo set for our 6 wedding anniversary in 2011 and I was scared about hitting them because I had just gotten use to a set of Adams A3 hybrid irons. And to my surprise they were way easier to hit and they are still in my bag 9 years later. Although they have been reshafted twice now.
Now after watching this I understand you wanting to switch to blades. To be fair you did strike them well. I've played blades. They do feel fantastic when you find the sweet spot... Major difference with these "tests" are hitting off the mat. I was hitting my P790 7 iron 175-185 in the shop, off the mat. But on the course, I get a consistent 160 to 165 out of it. JM2C Still, lots of fun to crank on one!! LOL. And your swing has greatly improved from the first video I watch. Just goes to show, lessons will work wonders over purchasing equipment.
Nike had a real clever groove design on them irons V slot machine spaced kept spin up very consistent and pros loved them sadly Nike gave up on golf clubs ✌️
If you play px 6.5 then it will be the s300 that’s giving you the distance. There’s a huge gap in flex between those two shafts. Perhaps the px is a little too much if you’re losing 20 yards with it. Then again I’d rather lose 20 yards and bring my dispersion down. Distance is irrelevant with irons. Just club up or down
my playing partner swears by the nike vaper pro's and any nike club for that matter. And I just replaced my whole bag with 2nd hand clubs. Def worth it. Spent literally a fraction of what I would have new. Great thorough review man. You really covered it all
I didnt check it on a loft machine I looked online, however after reading this comment I checked again and would appear i was wrong. The 7 iron is 35 degrees. So now I'm even more impressed.
@@LWG that is massive distance tbh. And the 3 iron is unbelievable distance. Must admit, best irons I've ever owned. I would like to see "actual" distances on the course
Great vid. Picked up a set just like these off ebay that were made for a guy called Scott Jamieson. Even have the S.J. on every club. Got 5 to PW for 250. Not played for 14 years, but back soon. I was a 12 HC at best and I used Tad Moore blades then. Keep those UGLY cavities, it's all marketing BS. Got me some sexy blades, love it.
@@LWG one thing I always think when I'm trying/buying irons: if every approach was over water, which ones can I trust most. That's why I have an RS10MB and CB combo set

Lessons all day mate. I find my distances quite similar if not further on the course. But it's hard to judge with different winds everytime.
Went back to a set about 6 months ago. Got TM MB's 2012 for €140 to my door in the ROI. Played MP 32 and 30's back when I was a Cat 1 player.

i have a set of these 3-pw i will never get rid of them. These are proper blades and look oddly familiar to the P730

your a big dude. just change to graphite shafts, zero pain everything feels pure even when you miss the ball.
I’ve only just got rid of these irons. Great feel. Just upgraded to mp 20s though
How is it in comparison to the mp 20?? Thinking of the same upgrade .. worth it? (I actually have pro v combos)

That 7 iron is basically a 6 iron.... At 32' it is 4' strong.

You’re only as good as your bad shot. I’d be cautious about switching to blades unless you know you are gonna pure it like 95% of the time.
Ive played 2 rounds with them and they have gone well. But ill be going back to my orka once the new shafts are installed.
