My one day record for the most coins found was 264 and 78 where wheat cents and several were silver, including an 1825 capped bust half dollar. It's always nice to find virgin sites. Why are things there so shallow? With all those wheaties there should be silver coins there also.
Wow! Amazing. Here in AZ, it’s rare to find wheaties, much less any other old coins. The state is still kind of new. Things are pretty shallow because of the soil being so hard. It’s practically like cement about 6 inches down. So most objects are pretty close to the surface. Not like Florida, where the sandy soil is so less dense.
A lot of finds. Awesome.
Thanks!
201 wheaties! Nice!
Thank you!
