On my lock I have I can pick it with the lishi no problem to the locked position but when unlocking I get to a point where none of the waters are giving me feedback and haven't been able to pick it open yet. Any suggestions?
Sometimes the reading will be between two numbers like 1 and 2 or 3 and 4. Sometimes I end up with different key codes due to the way the reader sits on the numbers. What method do you use to determine the best way of weeding out false readings?
Hi, if you turn it anti-clockwise, do you go AWAY from the numbers?
and clockwise, TOWARDS the numbers?
I see other videos doing it backwards
I just flip the tool around if I’m picking it the other direction
A little bit of confusion doing upside down lol.
does chevy not use a chipped ignition key like my '01 Toyota?
slaznum1 depends on the model year. I did a 2006 equinox yesterday. No chip

Is there any 4 cuts on your lock?
@@BoredLockpicker Yes there is
@@ionizer12 are you picking them? If you are you’re oversetting them. Since you know the bitting try picking it without touching the 4 cuts
@@BoredLockpicker Awesome I didn't think of that. I'll give it a try
@@ionizer12 on almost all the Lishi tools the tool itself sets the deepest cuts just by inserting it in the lock
Hi I have a Cadillac srx 2014 AKL situation what lishi I have to use?

use lock codes and you can choose it to use a 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 or just pull the ignition and get the code off it
Will this pick work with the old GM 6 cut locks? 69 chevelle trunk lock?
No. There isn’t a Lishi tool for those
What lishi do you use for a 1994 Silverado 1500
You would need to look up what silca key blank the vehicle uses then search for the corresponding Lishi. There may not be one.
I looked it for you. Those Locks have a sidebar so there is no Lishi tool.
@@BoredLockpicker have you seen this one will it work Original Lishi GM Anti Glare Reader GM39 V.5 for GM39 with Sidebar
If you posted the correct year of your truck it doesn’t use gm39 key blank so no the gm39 direct reader won’t work
THANKS
