Nice to see Jean and Patricia back again, and judging by the scenery in France you can’t blame them for wanting to get back there ASAP after their brief visit to Liverpool.

Not to be a killjoy, but it was a bit hard to believe tho that after 40 years Jean finds her lesbian lover without a trace of evidence where she was in the world. Also Pats been in France say half a year even less and she finds a French fella who’s besotted with her and takes on her kids…only in a soap that could happen because the odds of that happening in real life would be pretty slim.
1:01:30 crazy to think that the actress that played Julia died over 20 years ago yet the actress who played Jean, is still alive in 2023 aged 91.

They shot it in N Wales, atch. That "French" guy is called Dai Rees.
