I remember one new years eve we were out in the country and had a bon fire going while we were shooting off fireworks. The firework trash was being thrown in the fire. Apparently no one was counting shots as one cake stopped going off when it still had about half the shots remaining. My nephew tossed it in the fire. Several minutes later I went behind a truck to take a leak. It was me, then the truck, then the crowd, then the fire. I was standing with my man bits hanging out when suddenly the cake started shooting it remaining shots towards the crowd and me. Of course the crowd started running for cover which was the truck I was doing my business behind. I was dodging fireworks and trying to stop the flow and get tucked back in before the women got a free look. Fun times man, fun times!🤣
So I actually learned a different technique working for zambelli, we used brass awls to poke a couple holes in the shells and soaked them in kerosene for a day. You can just throw them into a fire and they will burn a lot slower that way.
My uncle used to sell fireworks years ago and he told one one day they were burning trash. And some of the guys threw good fireworks in the Fire. He said it was nuts things popping all over and all
I'm so glad when you upload videos like this. Learning alot about fireworks, and now I know how to properly get rid of fireworks without anything bad happening
Thanks Cody! I have a box of what I would call junior fireworks that the kids liked last year. Not full kegs, but not small either. A big assortment case. Commando something or other. But it seems that they were defective. I had bought two, and both of the assortment cases I bought had stuff shoot out sideways and darn near burned the neighbors garage. Mind you, no signs of problems on the packaging of any of the items in there. Just once lit went sideways instead of up. I had thought of just dousing them with water and tossing them in the garbage, but I didn’t want to do anything hazardous towards my garbage man. Great advice and filming. I always wondered what to do with them. Thanks you!
And definitely make sure to have plenty of blast shielding around (and potentially above?) the hole to contain the stuff that explodes out of or gets shot out of the hole
Great vid !! I remember on New Year’s Eve I rigged up a crazy show on my dock for the entire lake to watch when the show ended I left everything on the dock the next morning my dock was gone it was burned 🤣
Shit I just take apart the fireworks and burn the loose powder since it cannot explode with as much force without being tightly packed in the paper packaging, although it is time consuming to do so
@@CodyBPyrotechnics Damn in Europe we usually remove the bottom If we do Fireworks on a pallet so they have a better hold instead of the paper at the bottom ripping and thus the glue at the bottom also not working efficiently
You said it's hazardous to bury fireworks. Why? They are made from natural earth compounds... Potassium, charcoal, sulfar, and then the metals to make the star colors, which again, come from the Earth..

Definitely the coolest way of disposing of fireworks!

A longer lighter? Maybe shoot a Roman candle at it from a far?
I put one of those mortars, the ones that are put in a long tube, in a bonfire and it blew the bonnie to smithereens.
THis is the Coolest thing I've Ever Seen... Great Great Great!
Have some horror stories of things like this, burning fireworks lol
Were about to get to 800k subscribers
I normally just collect the compositions and make my own fireworks. And for cakes i take them apart and make single shots.
...no way the neighborhood kid's would've missed anything that still ignitable.
Late morning New Year it's all gone except for the trash.😂
Should have filmed that in 3D
Basically you “fight fire with fire”
Is there any way to safely stop a cake or fountain after it's lit? Like if it tips in a bad direction
Water hose keep one near
Shit I just take apart the fireworks and burn the loose powder since it cannot explode with as much force without being tightly packed in the paper packaging, although it is time consuming to do so
I think I just witnessed a better way to set off fireworks.
Yes, they do work in fires usually. lol trust me I know from experience.
Looks to me like the cake wasnt actually in the fire
Do more canisters videos
jaguar in the background😰😰😰🫣🫣🫣🫣
The cakes we're absolutely fine If the bottom is gone it doesnt Matter
We lit one off once at the gravel pit just like the one in this video and it tipped over shot everywhere
