For those wondering what happened to this place afterwards... It closed five months later. The owner apparently reverted a few, but not all of the changes Gordon made. The place had a lot of debt to begin with, and even though they bounced back a little, it wasn't enough. It's now a Sub shop! The Owner went back to working in Real Estate, and Trevor the chef went through rehab and seems to be in a better place overall.
It never ceases to amaze me. These people ask Chef Ramsay for his help because their restaurant is failing and then proceeds to fight him every inch of the way ! What do they expect him to say? "Your restaurant is beautiful, the staff are competent and the food is fantastic"? If everything was hunky dorey, he wouldn't have been approached for help😮
The mom really employs kids because they are easier to control, are less likely to fight back and easier to break down with yelling. A seasoned chef would not have that shit, but she promoted Trevor because he’s a perfect scapegoat.
For certain Gordon's team had done their visits and research research in advance to give him input about whats wrong with ths restaurant before he appeared, and this is not very improvised. Then perhaps he knews pasta anyways.
well if you mom is an abusive dictative boss of course your daughter will feel entitled where head chef has no choice but to defend himself cause mom and daughter are tag teaming to play the victim.
