i started to watch this video for fun even though i dont have after effects, then i thought "hmm nice video and relaxing music", after the edit my heart skipped some beats.. the nostalgia rushing through my veins, creating tears of joy.. i can never re-live the memories of mineplex and 2013 minecraft..
you make this look so easy :( i have been trying to add plugins for the last few days but AE keeps telling me that i am missing other effects(I got a Twior download for ATWOW but it keeps telling me i still need Twixor Pro to be able to add it in)...Makes life hard when no plugins are working... I hope i can get to this level and with this ease at some point

@@gae9198 make sure you select one of the effects in the bar on the left hand side, then press ctrl + a to select all, then ctrl +c to copy, ctrl +v to paste

hi i have a question my edits have very good quality but after i upload them to tiktok the quality gets very bad i know tiktok ruins the quality a bit but for me it's really a lot i even used 4k clips.. you might know how can i solve this?
It’s best to directly upload them from your computer. However it can also be that tiktok is just causing your edit to look bad.
I've found that setting your composition size to something in the lines of 1080x1080, 1080x1440, or 1080x1750 and then exporting in that resolution helps immensely. For a fullscreen tiktok edit, you would want to use 1080x1920. If you don't want your edit to take up the entire screen then use the other ones I suggested above. But always set the width to 1080. Also, either find a free one or purchase a quality CC from a creator on tiktok. It will color correct your clips and also add sharpening effects to get it to look like the best quality.

hi! the finder app is just part of the MacBook system :), if you're on windows just go to files and drag them from there. but either way, this isn't necessary since any way to open your files is okay

@@giuliasalvatore9027 yes ! basically, for me, it happened when copy and paste all the effects to the others clips. So, to resolve it, i manually put the twixtor plugin on all the clips, and paste the other effects after ! (sorry for my english, this isn’t my native language)

What's the difference of precomposing the clips individually versus precomposing all the clips together? I guess I am asking what precomposing does
precomposing all the clips together would basically have all your clips in one comp, so you can't do things to them individually, while precomposing them individually is more helpful for adding and editing effects separately. precomposing, from my own like thoughts, helps make clips more editable (?) cause some effects won't work properly if you don't pre comp it (I'm sorry if this didn't clear anything up)

Precomposing is kinda like finalizing a clip in a way? Whatever length it is becomes final (you can’t drag it out to make it longer) and it crops the image to fit your composition. If you precompose multiple clips, it essentially compresses them. If you’ve ever used a photo editor, it’s like merging your layers into one. Save this for the end, after you done all the individual edits to your clips, it’s much easier this way (I usually save this step for when I’m ready to add my watermark). I’m still pretty new to AE so this is the best way I could explain, hope it helps!
@@kinnsturbulence it's like putting the clip inside a box and decorating the box from the outside but to get access to the inside we have to open the box. also we mainly precompose to get rid of those empty lines on left and right when we cut or trim the clip

What if the scene I chose is shorter than the beat-to-beat time? what I do?
you can theoretically time remap it and make it longer by using keyframes! it will look a bit jaggedy but there's not much else you can do...

make a black solid and then look up gradient in effects and presets and adjust it there!
