  • Hello and welcome back! This video marks the beginning of season two of Biking Japan. This time, I (Pat) embark on a solo journey starting in Tokyo, and eventually ending up in Nagoya, by riding through Nagano and the Kiso Valley. There will be many hills and many sights along the way!
-This series is intentionally edited more raw in order to give a video of what it is like to ride in Japan
    - Footage was recoded on GoPro HERO12

It’s so obvious but it’s funny you never think of these big cities being peaceful and relatively quiet but that how it would be 6 in the morning 🙃
Great start and looking forward to following the journey!! 🚲💨

Its one of my favorite parts of doing these trips, you get to see areas in different ways then the average tourist since you are actually traveling through them in an uncommon way

Welcome back! I'll be honest, I found you last season right at the very end, but I did not have the time to rewatch the previous episodes... And my brain can only take in a limited amount of biking content, when there is other stuff that I also want to watch... So this time I guess, same goes to me: "Let's see how far I make it"
I assume this is all prerecorded and the bike tour is already over, but I'm just gonna pretend that you started yesterday so:
Have fun on your trip and have safe travels!
    Edit:

@@dozoboysNope, just as a reference guide for other people if they see something they like... I was more wondering how well I can track you through google maps and it was kinda fun matching the satelite view to your perspective, with fun insights seeing what some of the locations were... One park was affiliated with a forest preservation organisation and I didn't know Asahi Beer headquarters had this flame thingy...
If you like, you can put these in the video description which will add chapters to the video (a 0:00 timestamp is necessary or else youtube won't display them). Feel free to change them how you like, some may be too long or have nothing to do with the current location
