you MUST do a HIAW? episode of the movie Khiladiyon ka khiladi, with someone who is an Akshay Kumar fan.
Loved Sunil's entry, his revenge story, his pre climax fight with Akshay and the naseer not being blind revelation. Movie had so many twists and turns....kept me on the edge. Also well shot, great music, fantastic background score (despite knowing it was copied from Terminator 2)

Abbas’ Gulshan Grover impersonation is on point. But again why is Urjita here? Nothing against her, but she cannot be in an episode of a movie she has no background to. And it’s not about her age, it’s the homework or need to do some work before speaking about it. I mean, come on lady for how long are you going to keep saying I wasn’t born then and saw the movie for the first time but yet am here speaking about it for over an hour. She was just throwing statements without any fact check, like raveena had a job in the movie…at least follow that up with a % or some stats of how many hit movies had or didn’t have it…or some info to back it up.
if one cannot talk about a movie simply because they didn’t exist during the time of its release then my brother in Christ most of your beloved film critics won’t have a career :)
As far as your second point (about Raveena having a job) is concerned.. maybe try framing a sentence properly before shitting on someone? Thank you :)
@@urjitawani. Firstly I did not shit on you. My comment wasn't mean to be disrespectful in any way. I have given some constructive feedback as an IVM regular podcast listener. So your reply had really hurt me as a consumer of your content. You cannot win fans like this. Also I didn't say don't review a movie. I said do some home work of the time the movie released in, what was the country going thru, other movies releasing around then, what was the mood n sentiments of the nation as our movies have always reflected that. Anupama Chopra has written a book on Sholay, that's a great example. See the amount of research she's put in it. So since u r reviewing a movie u don't need that level of research but some work should be put in before u start the discussion. For example in the Yuva episode, the guest was fantastic with so many anecdotes and instances and examples of college culture in Kolkata etc. That's what I mean.
Please don't bite the head off your fans dear girl. I'm sure you have a long way to go in your career.

Awesome podcast. A point that I'd like to make: 'Abbas needs to start watching movies without being too woke. He has mentioned the female actor being a plot device (when that's not the case) in a previous episode as well, and this one too. Urjita has pointed the issue with this theory out in both episodes, thanks!'

I love this podcast and was introduced to it from The Khandaan Podcast. Any plans on English subtitles for the Hindi language? I am missing out on so many of the jokes. Urjita is so funny that her laughter makes me smile but I'm sure I will lol when I can read what she's saying. 👍

Sorabh was least interested in any discussion and Urjita has a long way to go still.
There's no one to discuss these films at the level of Abbas. He's always the only one who will bring up the genre, the era, the context of the film at that time and all other talking points.
Rest are just there to derail the conversation with lame jokes.
