Thank you very much for covering this. I was wondering about the deluxe edition if it was coming with a physical CD soundtrack. Amazon mentions that the US deluxe edition does come with the CD soundtrack, but the pictures only shows the digital voucher. Cheers mate!
Physical stores are selling it as a CD in the UK you would get a digital download code and the CD. I did notice it was showing different in the USA so as I mentioned double check with the retailer
Im getting the collector’s edition, and even though it’s a bit pricey; I think it’s worth the price tag since it includes a whole bunch of things that when you add them up, its actually a reasonable amount for it.
exchange rates will always fluctuate - I've just done a comparison myself now 263.87 USD = £207.22 - LRG with shipping and taxes 328.53 USD = £258.00 - Tomb Raider website with shipping and taxes Official website orders are still being fulfilled by LRG so you are effectively paying and extra £50 as an admin fee
Exactly this. Even the Limited Run Games version isn't limited in number just limited jn time you can order from them Standard and Deluxe that are available in retailers will still be available to buy from them after the physicals have been released
What i don't understand is why does the Standard version have a limited pre order window from LRG when it doesn't elsewhere. Aren't they the same exact release?
@@TheGameBreakersUK Knowing that I can just walk into a best buy and they'll have it in stock on release is comforting. I really didn't want to have to order through LRG and have to wait a year to receive it lol
There is a physical version for PC it will be shipped on a USB stick and apparently does not need a launcher however this has not been confirmed the PC physical is only the collector's edition and only available through LRG
The collectors edition is shipped March 2025.If you want the Standard or Deluxe then I would order from a game store in your region (expect if you want it on Xbox, then you have to order it through LRG, and wait until November)
limited run games and square enix don’t seem to give a crap about us none usa fans so just bought deluxe switch version from the game collection (there a £1 cheaper and you get points for purchases👍) i may also purchase ps5 deluxe nearer the release date. tomb raider website are charging £100 shipping what a total rip off.
How is everyone listening to CDs in 2024? Cars don't play CDS, most laptops don't play CDs, DVD players don't play CDs, and frankly i don't have any CD player anymore... seems outdated, no? I mean it will look nice displayed on a book shelf, but it wouldn't be practical to use.
I'm ONLY using CDs for music, as I hate streaming - so I will get this set. Physical media is physical media, across all platforms, including movies, books, games, everything. You buy it, you own it, and can hold it in your hand - even 50 years from now. Just get the download. :)

TheGameBreakersUK, This made me laugh so much! Thanks for sharing!

Wondering where to pre-order the collection edition here in the Netherlands!
try your local game stores or your equivalent of Amazon in the Netherlands.
CE word echt zeer prijzig, helaas..😔
It's cheaper to purchase the collectors edition through LRG rather than the tomb raider site ive noticed. For the UK

@@TheGameBreakersUK So it is cheaper to buy through LRG than on the official Tomb Raider website?
@@albertwhite3711 Probably not now as the pre-order window for LRG has now ended
@@TheGameBreakersUK well at least I already bought the collector's edition yesterday in the Tomb Raider oficial page, it is secure that page?
Ok i'm a bit slow, so the standard edition won't be limited and available at retail without time restraints?

Thanks a lot for the clarification, it's a relief to know there's no pressure to buy this

That's just how limited run operate. If you have doubts and want to pre-order then do so from a different retailer

@@DevanHorror_ If its just the standard edition you wouldn't... its only the collectors edition you have to wait a year for.
@@TheGameBreakersUK I was merely exaggerating based off of their ridiculous shipping times 😂
I will tell you, sadly, that 6 dollar postage here in the USA isn't expensive as things go.
Standard for me, that $200 price tag hurts.
The figures are cool, but the display guns aren't my thing, so I won't be paying that silly price. I'll get the deluxe edition for Switch.
I'm getting increasingly annoyed that physical games are no longer being released on PC. 🤬

This has been a thing for years. Why buy a PC then complain it doesn't get physical releases?
Will retail stores sell this product?
Only the Standard and Deluxe Editions
@@TheGameBreakersUK when will they sell it in stores?
@@man-yp1gb 24th September as it says in the video :)

Where's the PC release ? ....
You can only get the PC physical release through Limited Run Games or the Tomb Raider store on the website
@@TheGameBreakersUK
I only heard PC mentioned once on the Ultimate Edition release ..
Is there just a basic Disk only package ?
@@garyrichards6079 The PC physical is only the Collectors Edition - it does not ship with a Game Disc and is instead loaded onto a USB Stick
Xbox can have Tomb Raider when the rest of us get Dead or Alive 3 & 4.😂
Ps5

It's a physical edition of the game so I would kind of expect a physical CD. I mean you do get the soundtrack as a download as well.

This guy doesn't know. Everyone laugh at him
I don't know if you're joking, but I'm pretty sure DVD players will play CDs
PC's do. Quality stereos do. Your consoles do. Your surround sound system does. CD's make more sense than vinyl as they are digital.
