These cards are beautiful. I have a full set of 2 separate years of the Marvel Masterpieces; I found them again recently and was in awe over the artwork. I miss the dopamine sensation I'd get as a kid when finding a foil/hologram/transparent/etc card.
I know exactly what you mean about how it made you feel. I can say with all honesty that collecting cards as a kid and chasing inserts and hot packs was my first addiction
Wolverine and Spiderman cards were always most sought after cards in the 90's.
I remember these from my childhood, but man the artist of these cards really liked red, blue and yellow
I own 50 cards from this set that I collected from comics when i was 14-15. looked after them well. Got silver ironman which is cool.

OMG!!!!!! I had the opportunity in 2008 to buy 5 sealed boxes for $45 with free shipping; I ended up buying 2 for $19 + $7 shipping in the same year and gave them away at birthday parties in 2014-2015. Of course, I bought two complete sets for myself at $10 each in 2009-it was love at first sight. I didn't even notice the signed or special cards-no wonder the kids love me at those parties. I missed out on a chance to buy a complete set with the signatures for about $23 on eBay in 2010-11. I didn't fight too hard for it; this was not so special after all, right? Not the best decision, I guess!!

Hi Buddy, I just had my mom send me an old box from my room, in it is a book of Marvel Masterpiece, Marvel Metal, and think Flare cards. All in perfect condition, probably over 200, this book hasn't been opened since 1997. If you like Marvel cards let me know, I'd appreciate your opinion on some of them...
I just opened 6 packs so far and not one pack contains a Gold Foil Signature Series card :/ such a bummer...must have a defected box!

I recently purchased this box and was disappointed when I couldn't complete my base set after finishing the box. I was missing Gambit and Captain Universe... then I read on the box how it said might not include every card or something like that lol
That actually not that bad only 2 cards. 🎴 you got close easy to find them for sale online.
@@JerBearBreaks yeah I did buy the 2 cards from ebay. This was actually my 1st box purchase. I also gave a sealed 93 marvel universe. I didn't realize when I ordered the 93 MU box that I had already ordered the base set off of ebay lol. I kind of want to open it just so I don't have to buy the 2099 foils and to see if the box has the Spiderman vs. Venom hologram.... I apologize for yapping away. Nice video btw. I look forward to seeing more 👍

I have a spiderman 1994 holofoil limited edition 8 of 10 but it's has a white borderline instead of the foil look. Did they have some without the foil borderline?
I have a 1994 set including 9 of the 10 foil cards. I'm missing War Machine but I don't know how to tell if I have the bronze or gold ones. They look very similar in ebay listings. Any advice?

Maybe. Marvels had a bigger influence on people (younger) with all the movies. And older box can sell for more. But there are 30 year old boxes that also sell for $20-40. So how long do you want to hang on to it...because of covid there has been a spike in box breaking and views so that might be a good time to sell. I wish it was a big as Pokémon. One thing is for sure the values right now aren’t boomin’ right now, so it really about whenever you’re ready to sell it.

Holo foil are the most sought after right?
I believe so. But really it comes down to fan favorites. Like base wolverine would be better than a less known holo foil from what I can tell.
@@JerBearBreaks so holofoil of the venom and popular characters is prob a better bet. What marvel cards do you see going up with time?
Currently the Gold and Bronze inserts are the most sought after; specific graded sig holofoils like Spider-Man and Black Panther are demanding the most.
What is the price of this box and what is the card's value each????
This one was a pricier one for me, I think I paid about $125 for the box. As far as each card value that’s researchable by comparing prices online and recently sold on eBay. In general they range from $1-the prices showed on the video. 👍🏻

Haven’t opened that box in particular looks like they sell for a few hundreds box. It’s it worth it? Depends, are they something you want to collect...then always. But if you’re buying for an investment then I find it’s harder to get top dollar when you are READY to sell them. In truth my belief is “you pay for the fun of opening the box as well as the cards” however from what I’ve seen in most cases you can buy a full set of most Marvel cards cheaper then if you bought a sealed box. Again as far as EACH individual card value...you’ll need to research that yourself. Best of luck buddy!

not a single one of these cards can be graded as a 9 or a 10. you arent wearing gloves, you're having to brick them. so showing the prices, is a waste.
