Virtual Run | Whatley Quarry To Mells, England | Treadmill POV Running Scenery

- Starting from the view point at Whatley Quarry, we head along public footpaths through English countryside, taking in woodland trails, carpets of wild garlic and bluebells as we make our way to Vallis nature reserve near Great Elm, before heading along Mells River past the old Iron Works and finishing in the quaint town of Mells, famous for it's beautiful architecture and thatched cottages.

Thanks @brighttrails, I'm glad you liked it :) My favourite part is from 00:17:33, but I don't think the GoPro did it justice. I actually went back a few days later and recorded an extra loop in those woods, that's the bit you see when you first enter them!

Okay that was fun. 😆 I wasn’t prepared to duck and jump over trees and being chased by a cute Yorkshire terrier. 😂 I was sweat wet after 35 minutes but the area was so beautiful. Thank you 😊
Haha I never plan to get chased or have to duck but that's the nature of trail running! There's actually a section just before Mells where another dog chases and barks at me for about 30 seconds, but I replaced the audio with some from a previous section so you would have no idea that happened (you can't see the dog either because it stays behind me). Glad you enjoyed the run though :) Did you manage to get to the end of the video?
@@SwiftTrailsTV it was really fun. The first 35 minutes went by with joy 😁. There was so much going on in the woods I didn’t had time to get tired 🤣😂. I mean I watched to the end 😬 but I can run for like 40-45 minutes on a good day 🤪 and then I was fast walking the last 10 or 15 minutes. I think I was at 50-55 minutes. Had to take my dog for a walk 😬. He likes to chase runners 🏃♂️ as well but he’s super friendly and we’re working on it. He’s a 2 years old Australian Shepherd.
@@uniquebellax It sounds like your running is going really well :) I'm glad you managed to stick around for so long. Oh sounds like a lovely dog, they are a nice breed. I haven't had a dog since I was about 10. We used to have a Rough Collie, just like Lassie!
@@SwiftTrailsTV yeah around 45 minutes is enough for me 😁. I run 3 -5 times a week. Depends on my dog. He’s very sweet and sensitive but can turn into a tornado 🌪️😂. Teenager. 🤪 oh a Lessie collie 🤩 that’s also a nice one. I mean I love all dogs but I wanted a bigger size so we could go for runs. But for now I’m running by myself because he’s not there yet chasing birds and stuff like that. 😂 we will see if he wants to run with me one day.
@@uniquebellax 45 is very respectable and much longer than most people can manage :) Haha I've often wondered what it would be like to run with a dog. I once took a work colleagues dog out for a run but he wasn't interested and I had to keep waiting! I thought it might make a good video if I had one or more dogs tied to me (like CaniCross) pulling me along on a run.
