My family and I visited during the winter/spring period of the year so we weren't able to experience the outdoor water park which was a bit of a miss. I will say that in terms of the indoor water parks, Kalahari has been my favorite of the 3 resorts in the Dells I've been to. Wilderness was pretty good, but I was able to go during the summer so it's not really a fair comparison. Mt. Olympus's indoor water park is just bad in my opinion. I went there in the winter so there were less lines and I got bored within 2 hours, seeing as there was just so little to do. Ended up getting a day pass to Kalahari to try to salvage the trip.
I love this place. I went here back in 2014 and it was a blast. The water slides are very fun a re-rideable, and the Resort itself is fun to explore and walk around in. I only had a brief chance to experience the outdoor part, and I still had a great time
This is my second favorite resort in Wisconsin Dells just behind Wilderness Resort down the road. It's also the only Kalahari I've been to but I hope to visit the other three later on.
I went here in December 2015, it was so fun and we actually got kicked out for going into the hot tub that was closed and then we went on the water coaster and I asked if I could press the button to start the ride and for some reason they said yeah and I pressed the button and it was so funny and also the slide at 3:46 is so fun when you fall through the middle part
I remember staying is this hotel and going to this indoor water park. It's a fun little place, I mainly stayed so I could go to Mt. Olympus but you also might as well try this. They have a bunch of decent slides and a series of slides on the outside section of the building too. I much prefer the outdoor section as I found the slides to be a lot better.
Im going there this week for the AMA banquet, i'm really excited! We've been to the cells 3 times but we didn't go to Kalahari 2 times. We usually stay at mt. Olympus and they are really good hotels. It has 2 beds and 1 bunk bed in the ones we stayed in. Its always so much fun and we can just drive there! (Its like 2-4 hours?)
We went to the Round Rock location and just got day passes, was $300 for 3 people. We bought them ~3 weeks ahead of time, staying overnight was going to be $1000! As the date got closer I did keep an eye on prices and they did drop to ~$600 but that's still absolutely absurd considering what else you can do for the same kind of money.
4:28 of yeah I remember the tv that would show people riding that, I went on those so many times and they were really fun but the one that drops you and then goes in a circle is so hard to breath on because water is constantly splashing in your face
I went to that before but it was when the outdoor waterpark was closed. My family and I are going over there in 2 weeks so I hope this will be a fun experience, same goes with the Wilderness waterpark!
My favorite kalahari is poconos because of how deep the slide collection is however I love the ohio one it has the best atmosphere of the kalahari parks for sure. Haven’t been to the Wisconsin one but I just think those two look better but this looks great too. If only you got to ride zip coaster when it was at kalahari ohio, talk about an intense water coaster
Hey! When your going on New Year’s Eve to the kalahari, swimming times and slide times say up till midnight, so you can get all the rides in in one day. ❤
I love this place to, i went their when i was 4 before my surgery. I made great memoryies but then i got lost in the park 😂 because it was so big. But it was fun tho, im going their in early feburary or mid janurary ima re create the memories i made at kalihari when i was 4 and i was a young lad at the time i was 4'6 at the time when i was 4 now im 5'1 i can basicly ride every ride and every ride usually its 4'8 for the decent ones im exited to come back to kalihari any tips on not getting lost in their indoor water park again 😂
@@CanobieCoaster got it I have only been like 2 times but from what I remember it’s definitely worth the stop. Make sure to check it out next time your in SoCal
Very ruff pool and children area. Concreat is to ruff they have had a long time to fox this. My knees are still skinned from getting up and down on such a ruff centmet pool and children pools. Needs to be padded. Rooms are old and smell of mold. Would not go back.
I love the Kalahari in Wisconsin Dells! I think the indoor & outdoor water park is really awesome and the attractions are really amazing. You should definitely check out & review the wilderness resort it is greatest water park resorts in the dells!
They really need to go to rooms. they are really very how to do them on smell of mold really bad and mold. On Spencer room, every pulled extra for the private island with the two lounge chairs that go into the infinity pool and when we ask a favor, please bring us two glasses of wine. They said no they’re sorry our room is too cheap. We have to stay in the more expensive rooms for them to bring us to glasses of wine, all they are is money hungry they charge for every little thing. I’m all good to update the pool area as well concrete in the children’s area as well as the concrete in the very lower lazy river. needs to have some type of padding my skin because the concrete is so rough. The children’s play area is even worse they need padding but once again, I feel Kalahari is out for money and money only and I feel they thought it was gonna be a much longer experience but it’s gods downhill so badly. The parking lot was half full. we used to go every year and put up with the terrible conditions but they’ve gotten so bad lately that it’s not even worth it there’s too many other places that can go in the Dells now that are very nice so they lost us as customers they couldn’t bring us to wine glasses for our room

I thought this park looked to have the best slide lineup of the Dells indoor parks.
i love this place!! my inner child is so happy to watch this
It's pretty fun.
I went the first year it opened. It was a lot of fun then. Nice video. I’m glad an enthusiast is giving sis dells some love besides my Olympus
Thanks!

It's a cool place.
Went today epic loved master blaster and the drop pod slides
Nice!
@@CanobieCoaster I am going today as well do you know why the drop pod slides are closed so much?
This is my second favorite resort in Wisconsin Dells just behind Wilderness Resort down the road. It's also the only Kalahari I've been to but I hope to visit the other three later on.
I've never been to any of the Wilderness parks, but the water coaster is what swayed me here.
Yeah I've noticed Master-Blaster contained a floater pop, it's nothing too prominent but obviously still fun
Even a poorer water coaster is still a good water slide overall.

I think I preferred the indoor section since it had the speed slides and water coaster.
I went there last week it was a blast loved the drop tower the g force ride and rolercoster it was a blast loved the slides to
Nice!
Ive been to kalahari so many times, and in my opinion it is the best waterpark I’ve ever been to
Glad you like it!
I am going there on oct 21. Can’t wait😮😮😮😮😮😮

I've never stayed at a Kalahari. Seems easier to get deals at Great Wolf Lodge.
4:28 of yeah I remember the tv that would show people riding that, I went on those so many times and they were really fun but the one that drops you and then goes in a circle is so hard to breath on because water is constantly splashing in your face
I love how speedy that slide is.
I went there this summer😊🎉
Hope you enjoyed it!
I’m going here this weekend! So excited!
Enjoy!

I only went last year.

I don't have plans to visit the Sandusky one now that the water coaster is removed and because I don't want to take time from Cedar Point.
@@CanobieCoaster true. It’s still a great park tho but I prefer pocono but the one in Ohio feels least like a warehouse compared to most indoor parks

How do you find the funds needed to go all around the country/world to be able to visit theme parks and water parks?
I worked hard through school to get a good job. Most of my travels were after I graduated.

Having a meeting place if you get lost is key.
Im am going today with my family and cousin
Have fun!
I’m surprised the supports for the slides don’t have an African safari look and with animal designs
That would have been cool.
Did you go the one in Round Rock, Texas? It’s way bigger and better in my opinion
I have a review on that one too.
I visited this park but it was in austin i went there multiple times!
Nice!
I’m on my way to there

Would you do a Top 10 Waterslides At Kalahari Wisconsin Dells Please?
Maybe, I have a top rides video for the Dells already out.
