@@Katiegirlluv you know I read many comments that wanted the state to emphasize race. I think the states thought process is to get the jury to focus on the law and facts of the case. They don’t want to throw away the case because someone thinks she is playing the race card or some other reason. Personally, if not mentioning race in this case gets the conviction. I wouldn’t lose sleep over it. The objective is justice and I think that is what we all want.

About 15 years ago, my wife and I lived next to a property where there was a house under construction. We would, from time-to-time, go over and take a look. See what the floor plan was shaping up to be, what the progress was--just out of curiosity. Never once did I have to say to my wife: "dear, we can't take that risk. Someone will automatically assume we are stealing." We did not have to fear vigilantes would chase us down, possibly hurting or killing us. I also used to jog in that same neighborhood--again, never did the thought even cross my mind that someone would assume I'm running because I committed some crime. I'm not proud to be white--that's weird to me, because I just happen to be white--it's not like I had to overcome anything or earn it. But I do feel fortunate to be white. I do not have to live in fear of people like the McMichaels merely for doing ordinary things.

Then he probably has a moment where they jump out on him, point guns at him and shoot. He feels pain, he’s laying on the ground, probably trying not to fall asleep, and then a cop pulls up, just stands there, and nobody renders aid. Nobody asks him if he’s okay, tells him help is coming, puts pressure on his wounds. They just stand there and talk while he’s dying.

Yeah, but it took 2 months to give the video up! That's why he's a defendant when he could've been a witness! To bad for him because it looks like he was helping in the chase!

If they had got off that video would have been the trophy. I'm glad there is video, however he shouldn't have left his driveway and should have called the police

He gave the video unwittingly thinking it was going to serve his cause. However the GOD of our ANCESTORS had OMNIPOTENT ideas for these misfits among decent human beings. To think those charged in enforcing and upholding the law, then help subverting the laws initially they too are among the most debased among the human family. Good GOD Almighty, the united states in 2021, this should not even occur in a dream much less reality!!! Wow wow woiee!

The craziest part is the video where they say he doesn't steal anything he just walks around so the entire time so they knew he wasn't stealing simple fix would be no trespassing signs they never had to go "talk to him"

Remember the cop told Ahmads mom he was killed committing a burglary. So when are the police going to be charged along with the other D.A's involved in the cover up

    • @bbennyj

Well, they can’t charge the cop for that but if that cop had a decent heart, he would offer a sincere apology for telling that lie.
