So glad I found this. Can confirm that this worked on my BMW 340i (F30) where I was getting extreme rattles after getting my car detailed. My guess is they used some cleaner that they shouldn't have that dried out the rubber. Lucky there wasn't damaged caused and using probably less than half the bottle, I got rid of 90%. Going to do another layer but not rushing it.
I just looked up the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) on this. In a nutshell its silicone liquid. I wanted to see if this was better than what I've been doing for years - I use a can of Silicone spray I get from my local auto parts store. I first clean my rubber seals with a rag with window spray, then after that's dry I spray the silicone on a clean rag and wipe it across all the seals. I do this a couple times a year, especially before winter to help keep the doors from freezing shut.
Yo buddy. Thanx for the video. Is that maybe also what is causing the interior rattling when driving on gravel road or uneven roads with potholes for instance. Would love to be able to send you a video or sound clip. Like mine came with the years of having the car its a Golf 5@skrrtgarage3922
I can see where this product would be good on rear hatch seals, T-Tops, convertable top seals and trunk seals as well. Great stuff. Perhaps it should be called Sanity Saver. Thanks for sharing!
Hi my 2012 car around the steering wheel rattles when I'm stopped if I hold it firmly with my hand it stops and in motion there is no noise but it's really annoying especially when I have a headache
Hey, I know this is not a comment on this video but I am getting ready to order the new crank pulley and tune from Velocity AP for my F-Type and I was wondering if there was a way I could call or email you about your experice and thoughts on this upgrade.
I was wondering this as well and am skeptical. My mechanic did say it was coming from the seals (although to use wax). I just bought the recommended product and will be trying this later today.
@@hamadmahamod8591 Yes - and i'll go over the mistakes I made as it took me a few tries! Ensure that you clean the rubber seals first thoroughly. Like really get in there, and in between areas. I wrapped my finger around a microfibre and used vinyl/rubber cleaner and protectant (although alcohol probably could/should have been used), but also used a card wrapped with the towel to get into the cracks. Let that dry quickly, and then be liberal with your application of the Gummi Pflege. Ensure you get everywhere just like the cleaning process using similar techniques. Do one at a time, and ensure you wipe away any excess so it doesn't clump up. Basically you shouldn't see any white substances. Ensure you take care of all the seals for doors, sunroofs, trunks, etc. Repeat for good measure. It's probably been weeks since i've applied and now instead of paying attention to door rattles, I can hear minor trim creeks. So onto another one.
did you tried the nose driving after it? i used a pretty much the same prodoct but sonax brand it make the noise really wrost im so pissed off! and i cleaned with a brush them and a car cleaner, rinsed dryed applied the product for 10 minuter removed the excess with a wet microfiber cloth waited other 10 minutes to completely dry like the instruction said before close the doors! im gona try with silicone spry
Sorry that I am a little off topic… have a ? Re the 2020 444 hp and 575 hp F-type V8 motors. Are the the same mechanically other than the degree of super charging? In other words can you make the 444 hp a 575 hp motor safely?

Never once thought that this is where the squeaks are coming from! Gonna do this today! Thanks for the video!
It’s a lifesaver if you get those squeaks!
did it work?

Might have to give it a try. My Dad always use silicone spray when I was growing up so I still is it from time to time. Cheers!
Silicone works great too 👍🏼

Honestly would be! Thanks for the comment 👍🏼
Is it temporary like the silicone lubricant?

For sure, my email for TH-cam is skrrrt.garage@gmail.com. I’m also on Instagram at Skrrt.garage 👍🏼
I have an annoying rattle when i go over slight bumps. I can understand squeaking coming from dry rubber seals, but can rattles come from seals?

@@kylelee7254yo, do you have the results?😊

Will this fix my squeaky bed? 😂
Just kidding;)
I’ve never heard of this stuff!
Dude this stuff is amazing! However, your bed is a lost cause lol
J'ai fait venir de produit à 30$ sur Amazon, J'ai suivi exactement la procédure de la vidéo et ça ne fonctionne pas.
30$ de perdus plus le temps.
If this is what’s causing my problem, I’ve only had my car for 6 months and it has already started doing this 💀
It's door JAMB, not door jam!
