- The ritual in this two part video is called Ifa gbigbo. Prior to the sacrifice offered to Ifa, various prayers and iyere Ifa is chanted, including various stanzas or poems of the odu Ifa that pertains to the Ifa (or Ikin Ifa) for which sacrifice is being offered. In this ritual, a bull or cow is offered to Ifa. Note, that the bull that is being offered to Ifa is not wasted. The animal is cooked and all participants consume the meat.
El ritual se llama "Ifa gbigbo." Antes del sacrificio a Ifa, se corearon diversas oraciones y iyere Ifa, incluyendo varias estrofas o poemas de el odu (o signo de Ifa) que pertenece a el Ifa que va recibir el sacrificio. En este ritual, un toro o vaca se ofrece a Ifa. Tenga en cuenta que no se desperdicie el animal que se ofrece a Ifa. Desputes de el sacrificio, el animal se cocina y todos los participantes consumen la carne.
