Hi Paula....I have just found your video today....I am not very computer savvy but I would like to learn a lot more....your video looked very interesting......I hope I can follow...thank you for the tutorial looking forward to more lessons.....Mary (Australia_)
Thank you for this tutorial! Iam goin to try to make this one myself. Love your projects! But I wonder Wouldn't it be easier if you use the eye icon to make few leaves invisable? Than group the visable leaves, than make that group invisable. And show the other leaves again and group those?
Great tutorial. Thank you. Can I ask how you got the box of pencils in canvas workspace. I like them so much better than the normal colour selection in the top bar.
Hi Paula, I am new to Scan n Cut! Just got the SDX125 for Christmas and stumbled upon your videos! Your instructions are so easy to follow! I want to create the layered stencils; did you use transparencies to make them? Thanks!
I am new to this app, but could you not have line up the first set of leaves over the second and used the subtract to take out the ones that are the same?
I never tried,Jan. It would be a lot of work because you would need to erase parts of the stamped image. With svg it’s easy because the parts are easy to delete.
How would you convert or print a .FCM to .SVG or an image file? All I've been able to do is load a colored pen in my Scan N Cut to draw the shapes of my .FCMs. But my creations tend to be on the complicated side. Meaning I use a lot of ink to draw out those shapes. Then I have to scan them back into the computer so I can show them to people online.
very good knowledge that you are sharing.
thanks!
Really appreciate your creating this tutorial! I’ve been wanting to create layered stencils for some of my stamps and other items I have. ❤

Sure! On the top you will see an icon that looks like a bucket, just click on it and the pencils will appear.

Click the small triangle at the bottom right below the video. She has links to her supplies there!
you can use transparencies for sure. I usually buy acetate sheets: amzn.to/3OyXhdz

Yes you could, there are often more than one way to do something. :)
Is there a way to make layered stencils with stamped images on the scan and cut?

Sorry, I only know how to convert PNG and JPEG.
