We are headed to Cinque Terre in April and are really looking forward to doing this hike! We didn’t know about the boat/ferry so we will definitely want to check that out! Thanks for sharing!
Hey guys! Thanks for watching. Youre gona have the best bloody time in April 😍 Still definitely one of the most beautiful places we've ever been and add to that the amazing italian atmosphere, its just brilliant. Will you make a video?
Thank you Nick and Rachel! Really is such a stunning place and so easy to get to. Just a cheap train from Pisa and London to Pisa return flights were under £50! Perhaps more if youre coming from over the pond but so worth exploring if you're ever in Italy! ❤
Really is!!! Blown away at the natural and human made scenery along this section of coast. Unbelievable memories! So nice to have a day to relax at the beach afterwards. Water is so beautiful here!
Ciao!! Gracie :) Yes definitely longer and steeper than expected but glad we did the full day. OK its no Everest but for a relatively challenging hike on holidays its the best!!! And finish with pizza bread and Peroni :)
Thank you for sharing this! Adding it to my playlist of training films for a 10 day eat and walk and 🍷 vacation in Italy. Cheers from the Philippines 🇺🇸🇵🇭
Great Video! I have to choose one hike when I go next week - either Monterosso to Vernazza to Corniglia to Vernazza - which would you say was an easier route? more picturesque?
I am lapping up all the Cinque Terre videos I can. I will be there in September 2022 so imagine weather wise it will be similar to what you found. This was great! I'm getting more excited as time goes on. Will be spending a night in La Spezia and going slower through the region as we want to spend time in each of the villages. Thanks for posting this. :)
That was amazing and I so want to do this but I think I wouldn’t do it in a day. It would be nice to do half, stay overnight to see what it’s like and then do the other half the next day because truthfully I, not as young as you two 🤣. Italy is so beautiful. I can’t wait to get back again once this whole COVID gets under control.
Brilliant video! Hubby and I are headed there in September for our anniversary and we love a mixture of walks and sea so this seems ideal. Very glad to hear about the boat as I was hoping there would be one. Not sure when or if you'll see this comment but wondered: where did you guys stay? Trying to decide which of the villages to stay in as our base or if we stay in La Spezia like some recommend. Thanks for the window into Cinque Terre 👌
Hey Imam thanks for watching, glad it helped. Was such a great walk, ridiculously scenic! We stayed in Monterosse al mare, plenty of nice little hotels in the old town bit. Ours was called stella della marina. All on booking.com i think!
Nicely done! Heading to Italy at the end of this year and researching where we want to go and hike. Really wish I could have seen what your food looked like that you got! 🤤
I was hoping to do this in one day as well but kept hearing that was not possible! I’ll give it a go when I visit in May anyhow! Thanks for the lovely video, especially the ferry back, best idea yet 🙌🏼🙌🏼
I did this hike like a week ago, hardly anyone on the trails. They are still doing construction on the blue path haha. For me the worst part was Manarola to Riomaggiore. That hike was 800ft of elevation straight up and straight down haha.
I just did the same last week .. I also surprised and considered I was climbing…not hiking 😂😂😂 from manarola to riomaggiore is climbing up then step down …
Heading there in sep. Will do the hike from Monterosso to Vernazza, Grab lunch and take the train to Riomaggiore for a swim if the water is still a reasonable temperature. Then the ferry to Monterosso. Can't wait!
Some of the parts look really scary and dangerous near the edge of the cliff. Was it like that along the whole way, or is there a particular section that was the edge of the cliff part please?
Actually it felt safe all the way, the path is always far enough from the edge but if you want to go closer, you can of course! We felt really safe, it was so enjoyable
@@MatHall ahah don't worry but as an italian is really annoying...every italian region have his own culture, even every village dialect is different from the other so imagine hearing this fuckin neapolitan tarantella in literally every video regarding italy...you hear tarantella or sicilian music for documentary about venice or alpine villages, is crazy

@@MatHall Brilliant - thanks so much! One last question please 🙏🏽 🙈 where did you guys fly to? Google tells me Pisa is the nearest interns airport.
@Iman Spearman yes pisa then train :) was so easy
Your video of the ”Cinque Terre” is just a super wonder.
Thanks Philippe! Short cycling video coming up soon from our honeymoon in Portugal:)

Fantastic! Enjoy. It's a challenge but totally doable and so incredible every step of the way! Great spots for a 🍷 and snacks too ;)
Curious how it went! I'm going over there in June. Also heard a big part of the trail is closed till 2023

Doing this in June. Rented a place half way between vernazza and corniglia. Plan to go one direction one day and the opposite the next.
Brilliant! Youll definitely earn a good few beers or wine each evening. Such an incredibly beautiful walk. Enjoy!!!

Ah Sept will be glorious!! enjoy!!!!
TH-cam suddenly suggested ur video to me! How crazy during covid that u need to wearing even in the wild …
@Extravaganza50667 I know right. Was strange times...!
@ I was on this trail last week from manarola to Riomaggiore … it’s quite challenging that I considered climbing up to the top and then step down…

Is that difficult to understamd that tarantella music is not italian music but only typical of some southern regions?
It's so stereotypical and stupid
Oh really, i had no idea, it was just 'italian' music from a website... apologies!
