Perspective Acts 3:1-10 In the scripture passage, the lame man was focused on asking Peter and John for alms at the entrance of the temple. The solution to his physical disability was right before him, but because he was focused on receiving arms, he did not see that his deliverance had come to him. Personal Application: take your eyes off the alms, i.e. problem and look to God. Go to God in your quiet time with Him. Philippians 4:13 “ I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. So be strong in God and not in yourself. Kingdom citizens should pour into others, which will bring the glory to Jesus for the onlookers. Be the example.
