- Chris Haiveta Governor for Gulf officially resigns from Marape Government and joins opposition today 18th August 2024.
Replayed herewith is Haiveta's video statement explaining his resignation from Government to join opposition.
Surprising, really???...Chris ; yu Govnr blo Gulf for 4 or 5 terms, but yu fail tru long mekim Gulf kamap independent in Health, Education, Infrastructure na Economic activities. You were once Deputy PM under late Bill Skate..!!! If you had done your homework you and Gulf would not be in this mess... yupla ol Southern Region MPs always used as "cargo boys" by Highlanders... 😢😢😢
Hon. Allan Bird is the most preferred Prime Ministerial candidate right now...
Undisputed facts.. he's due for the post
I'm from southern region going in and out of kerema town. Gulf is in dire need of services for a long time. Why has gulf province not been developed for a long time.
This is not a new issue. It's not the current governments issue. The gulf members themselves have to be held accountable for donky years.
It's because of this Chris Haiveta, who is unvissionary, unproductive, who doesn't care about Gulf Province and it's people. Nobody will develop your province, only your representatives in Parlianment so Criris Haiveta has failed you Gulf people miserably for over 20 years. Now is time vote him out and replace new ones so you will see greater changes in Gulf
Opposition must reconsider its decision about the alternate PM candidate. Allan Bird is a genuine alternate PM candidate whose leadership trait can attract numbers from Govt side to change PMJM.
Agree on that note, but does he have the number (the NA party)? Nogat ok larim m stap givim support na tingting na larim ol man gat namba lo em can kisim so come 2027 em can kisim namba kam na kisim. After all those that have number rule.
Concur.❤
30 years in politics are wasted years and just waking up from slumber.
A big joke.
MP Chris' Haiveta, when did you learn to speak like this when you are an elite? Sad, you waited until you were robbed.
Thanks Haiveta long joinim team opposition blong yumi. 😊❤

Stand Up for MORAL CLARITY - WHERE & WHEN IT MATTERS..
So that we signal Hope for our Young Generation of Leaders..
Two Gulf MPs must must leave the corrupt regime and join the Governor in the opposition. If they don't. The people Gulf must do something. They are already bribed and think of themselves.Shame on these two mps
Good news to join your brothers for better PNG
Good decision to move away from tyrany. PNG bagarap ya pls all old heads na new heads get together and remove this got. People's calling is God's calling.
I also think that AB is a best PM material and I support his push for Block Grants to be paid to all Provinces. AB's statement that only 15% was paid to all Provinces while the National Govt held on to 85% goes to show how selfish and nefarious this govt is. The money is held by one person or a few cronies to lure and entice MPs to support a corrupt govt.
MP they so wrong thing done by government and why you no kam out and fight, MP can't fight for your own country and your people. Remember nobody in this world will leave forever we all died and facing the judgement of God one day in our life, please do the right thing
Can the move be a permanant one
PM JM f Resign n stand down u are not doing any good to the people of PNG.
Leave the pangu led government and join the opposition now...if it really hurts you so much..show your frustrations and the people of PNG wanna see your true heart for your People and for PNG..
All Papuan MPs need to think seriòusly to create a block to help change the current Marape/Rosso Government.
Good move by CH but opposition will not succeed in VONC, PO & RP should not be nominated as alternate PM.
That' Leadership Sir...Thank you. Government need to change ASAP
Good.
Stand for the people....
U a doing the right thing....
✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️
Government overlooked FMA to deprive Gulf province allocated funds . No wonder blind Papuan mps don't see that most development are taking place same regions whilst Papua waits . Gulf is least developed YET IS RESOURCES RICH.
Patriotic move to opposition
Papuan mps should move
