Great idea! In my area of Chicagoland, we most often get wet slushy snow that can only be moved by a plow blade. Only occasionally do we get a dry snow and you must have a snow blower for those days especially if the snow is more than a foot or so deep.

Not to diminish the usefulness of the Thrower Blade.
If I may suggest a snowblower impeller auger modification kit.
Garage Gear, by J.B. has been promoting the installation and benefits of a snowblower auger impeller blade modification kit.
On Boxing Day, I installed one into my snowblower and now it's a snowblower on steroids.
    No clogging, whatsoever!
I'd still like to have a Thrower Blade, as an adjunt to my winter battle with that
    "White Blight".

I modified the auger on my Craftsman 10/32 snowblower and though it doesn't clog anymore, when the snow is wet and slushy, it only throws the snow 2 - 3 feet. When the snow is dry, it'll throw it 75 feet easily. There's definitely a need for a plow blade accessory like this.

or you could use it as a snowblower

    What's the point??

As said in the video, wet snow isn't really something most snowblowers can handle properly.

@arakwar counterproductive on an electric snow blower. The amount of snow it can push is minimal, hence what's the point?

You've obviously never tried to use a snowblower to deal with wet slushy snow. In my area you need both a snowplow machine and a snowblower depending on what type of snow you get that day. I can see a device like this solving the problem.

@@dkeith45I'm not saying I don't like the idea, I was commenting on the idea of it going on an electric snow blower. Maybe you don't know the laws of physics Newton's third law applied force back... You won't get too far, lol!

@@rikidd77 No doubt. Anything like that running on a battery is suspect for power. I had a Kobalt 40volt push mower for a couple of years. It held two 4ah 40volt batteries. It would run on one at a time and when one ran low, would automatically switch to the other battery. But even with those two batteries, I'd get maybe 20 minutes of mowing time then would have to recharge them to continue mowing. And on top of all that, it really didn't have much power. I often had to mow each row twice to do the same job a gasoline mower could do. And I'm now back to using a gas powered mower.
