As a Dane I have nothing but massive respect for Finland, the Finnish fans and the Finnish team due to how they acted during the whole thing. The way the Finnish fans chanted for Christian together with the Danish fans, and the way the Finnish team applauded The Danish team back on the field is some of the most touching things I've ever witnessed in football! Great professionalism, compassion and love shown.

@@Sykoorus Eriksen had just survived death. He and his teammates were not in a position to make a reasoned decision: they were all traumatised and in shock and as such unfit, as the second half clearly showed. A game is a form of entertainment, and the players shouldn't have been ask to go entertain. They should have allowed at least till Sunday to process the emotions or, better, negotiated a tie and abandonment of the game.

All the best to Christian and Danish Fans. With all respect, this may very well be that trigger you need to gear up against Belgium & Russia. Just like 1992 where no one expected you to win, now no one expect Denmark to win against Belgium, you can play relaxed, just get out there and get it done against Belgium & Russia, maybe Denmark & FINLAND together go through to the 1/8s

UEFA should have called game off and gave them a point a piece. UEFA is greedy because of air time. They could’ve received agreement from both Danish FA and Finish FA to give point a piece. It’s totally in humane they gave them a choice to continue or play at noon the next day. Given the traumatic circumstances they should’ve been given time to process and recover. Prayers for full recovery for Christian Erickson.

Obviously you dont understand whats being said. Let me explain.
They had to make a choice between the two scenarios UEFA gave them. Go in and finish the game, or play tomorrow at 12:00.
The players wished to finish the game, as they knew they wouldn't be able to sleep at night, and therefore be too exhausted to play the next day.
It was the players choice, not the coaches. Please understand that.
