a law should be passed if a person spends 30 years in jail for a crime they didn't commit should get $30M not 13M do this for all others inmate that get found not guilty and also start charging peoples for with holding key information charged them with tampering with evidence all cause they wanted get a conviction without sharing all the needed information.

The Brooklyn DA, Eric Gonzalez, is utterly INCOMPETENT. The DA offices in NYC get to make positive headlines about exonerations of obviously mishandled cases from 20+ years ago. What the media and the DAs office will continue to remain radio silent on is the fact that the DA is STILL, continuing to prosecute innocent people TODAY. For every conviction of an actual criminal who actually damaged the People of the State of NY, there are probably 10 innocent men and women unlawfully and wrongfully prosecuted by the same DA. NYC lawyers in the DA offices and the Law Department are some of the dumbest, so-called “professionals” you could ever have the displeasure of having to deal with.

The New York justice system is weird there was evidence to free this guy after 33 years but then recently you have people that do commit crime and they are on camera that are freed.

If God was real, then this guy wouldn't have been locked up for a crime he didn't commit. That so-called God would have know that already. It took the power of science to free this man from a crime he didnt commit. There's no credible evidence to show or support a God in existence anywhere in reality.

There’s a black historian and a New York times best seller who’s on radio xm and covers a an hour segment dedicated to those who’s exonerated or fighting to be exonerated. If you can hear the stories on the exonerated it’s mind blowing. The corruption of cops and lying witnesses involved is staggering and very heart broken to hear.

Im so happy for this brotha and
his new found freedom. I will say
that in my opinion. If i were him.
Id retire and cut off the dreads.
I say that because hes had those
dreads while he was in a dark place
in prison. And they are a attachment
    to his incarceration.
I myself had long hair for years.
And i finally cut it all off in 2011
finally. Because it was so attached
to my past hard life and past darker
times for me.. I hope who ever
reads this can understand or relate
    to a degree. Thanks .

People pay $10,000 for a night in a luxury hotel but those same people wouldn't spend a night in prison for $10,000 because every day in prison is a threat to your life and of course you don't have freedom which is priceless. This innocent man was kidnapped by the state which later decided that it could kidnap him for $1,200 a day. I think it would be fair if he got $200 million. When the state mistakenly made a horror out of his life, now they should have sent him to the stars financially.! 13 million is a shame.
