I would go back 25 years ago and tell the younger me to not trade the 86-87 Fleer Jordan rookie I had for a stupid system for my car. I did get about 2500$ worth in an Alpine deck and 2 12” subwoofers and an amp and a couple 6”x9” speakers for the doors. Still though, the Jordan was probably a good 7-8 graded. Stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid.....
For me (and most every non vintage baseball collector) I would go back and hoard all of 2011 Topps update. That Mike Trout rookie has made that product extremely valuable! Love the shirt! Thanks for sharing.

These came out during my eleven year collecting gap from 1996-07. During that season I knew I was missing out on one of the greatest rookie classes of my lifetime. Same with the 1998 and 2004 NFL classes. But I was able to buy these over the years. Really wish I’d built the set, especially before the prices exploded.
If I had put all my cards in plastic sleeves, i started in the late 60’s, I would be sitting on a small fortune. Also, I’m an honest entrepreneur and terrible at negotiating with people on the prices of their cards. I feel sorry for people, and just pay whatever their asking typically especially if they’re a nice person. I’m weak around the nice! 2. Wish I’d thought of collecting b ball in the 80’s. When I got back into collecting this past year I accumulated about 2-3,000 90’s - 2000 b-ball so you’re vids help tell me what I have. Good job as usual.

For some reason back then I wanted Brandon Jennings and Ricky Rubio rookies lol. I also wish that I bought a 1996 1997 Topps chrome box back in the day that was my dream!!!

Buy Michael Jordan and hold on to them!!! I pulled a Michael Jordan out of 2006 or 2007 Finest it was an insert and I'll never forget I met someone about an hour away who bought it from me for $500.00 RAW!!! Bet that one is worth several thousand.. keep up the great content!! Love the channel!!

Unfortunate story for sure. I was a fan of him coming out of Memphis State like Penny. But his career was pretty lackluster. His cards don’t hold much of any value
i was looking on fb marketplace about 9 months ago. a lady posted an ad selling that same lebron rc, bazooka rc and graded si for kids rc and a box of the upper deck lebron set. i couldnt tell from the ad if it was chrome or base rc and i responded 8 minutes after she posted. i got the cards for 80$ (it was the base rc) and i didnt take the box set cuz i have one already

My "do-over" would be buy less packs, etc and buy singles I want, focusing on quality over quantity. At this point, I have too much and attempting to organize is overwhelming.
Ya. They definitely have taken a jump in the last 2 months as the LeBron base RC has spiked. I’m seeing them go for $40-$50. A nice double in value in 2months is impressive
If I could do one thing over would not selling my LeBron Bowman Chrome rc refractor 23/300. I sold it when it was only going for $300. I need the money but have always regretted it.
