- With Autumn on the horizon I thought id share with you some more of my tips and design ideas on styling and organising your home, i'll also be sharing with you updates on some new collections launching soon and renovations taking place in my entrance hall.

So wonderful that you mentioned the Queen’s passing. She was a blessing to her family.
This video is like a warm hug. The passing of the Queen has hit me hard too. She was a brave and wonderful woman. Her 2011 visit to my hometown of Cork was so healing . RIP❤

I just wanted to say how much I enjoy your vlogs. In Australian most people, even the young, were saddened hearing of the Queens passing. I can remember seeing her royal car drive by when I was just 5 , it’s possibly the earliest memory I have. She taught us all a lesson, royalist or not, in how to live a life of dignity. Also thank you for mentioning others that have died recently, my father passed at 97 two moths ago. He has always been there and although he lived a long life ( a Dutchman) I miss him and your acknowledgment is appreciated.

Beautiful fall styling! I liked all of the natural elements. I’m viewing this from Canada. We are also mourning the passing of our beloved Queen Elizabeth II. May she be richly rewarded in Heaven for her life of service with dignity.

I have a couple of all grey rooms like you and love how you’ve added the warmer colours. I actually bought a few linen cushions last year that have a little bit of burnt orange in them. I’m going to add some flowers and foliage now. Thank you for your inspiration and also thank you for your lovely words about our beloved Queen. You summed up beautifully how a lot of us are feeling right now.x

Your style is impeccable and I very much admire your decor choices. Along with your living room, I also love your lounge room. I think a warm wall colour would compliment your grey furniture beautifully! I’m envisioning BM Pale Oak. You definitely do not need my opinion, lol. Perfect timing as always. I've recently been changing things around for autumn. Being in Scotland, a tartan travel blanket or hand knitted aran throw folded over the arm of a chair or sofa is always a classic addition to the autumn vibe. Candle lanterns have been hauled out and dusted down too and the evening lighting settings programmed. I adore your floral decor. That's the one thing I feel my home does lack although I do have an abundance of house plants. The bracken is especially striking 🧡

Autumn is a beautiful season just by itself, but Autumn in your house is so special.

As I try to find beautiful antique pieces of furniture I’ve come to realize what an amazing find the round oak table is. Sophie would you ever consider coming out with a line of beautifully crafted furniture based on the style and motifs of some of these antique pieces of furniture you have collected? I also love that round table you have in the entry way of your design office. Thanks!
Great idea Anna. The only thing is that to recreate the carving today would be so expensive I don’t think it would be accessible for most people.
The great thing about antiques is the value you get for the quality. Plus they add character and charm to an interior ☺️

Being from London originally, I love seeing the luxury Chelsea apartments etc, but we’re currently at the beginning of a renovation on a cottage style property near the Essex/Cambridge border. I’m just starting to choose finishes etc. do you have any examples of more rustic/country style properties you’ve designed?

I think the pumpkin/orange maples leaves maybe cliche in your home because of where you live, but in the eastern US those items are native to where we live. They are traditional items, not cliche. 😀❤️
