If Dawson and Joey had ended up together I don't think it would've made much sense to me. Joey and Pacey made sense. They were what true love is all about in my opinion.

I’m watching the show for the first time. And I always thought Joey was going to end up with Dawson. So when she got with pacey I loved them so much and didn’t want them to break up. But it turns out they do end up together, I’m so happy!!!
Same!! Their build up was so seamless. It’s like one day I was rooting for Joey and Dawson and then BOOM….I was 100% a Joey and Pacey shipper without even questioning it. They went froma couple I never saw coming to the whole reason i watched the show. I still haven’t found a screen couple that can give me the feels that these two continue to do.
This is what true love looks like, pay attention boys. It’s doing whatever you can and whatever it takes to make their life easier. It’s fighting for them even when there are obstacles in the way. But it’s also knowing when to stay back. Knowing when maybe you’re not what’s best for them at that time. It’s staying up to watch them sleep and make sure they’re safe. I do not like Dawson’s creek, I think it’s an overall bad show that’s way too dramatic. And yet I keep going back again and again to rewatch the show bc the pacey and Joey love story is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen

@@ryanflores281 No season 1, I didn't even ship Joey and Dawson, they never had much chemistry. I loved them as friends, I even tried to make myself like them as a ship and I couldn't. I just didn't feel it with them, they were boring as a couple, they were always mean't to be best friends. They had no romantic chemistry, they had no passion, or heat, they were more platonic! Even in the beginning you saw a tiny glimpse of Joey and Pacey. Season 1 I was team no one, I liked Pacey and Andie a bit in season 2, but I still wanted him to get with Joey, and then I got to season 3 I was shipping them so hard when he first kissed her I was like omgoodness the chemistry!! Then when she told him she loved him I screamed I was so happy, and I was so mad when the writers broke them up the way they did to have her immediately run back to Dawson! Joey and Pacey were mean't to be!
