Welcome to the start of our PITCH SERIES for Hogwarts Legacy 2! The next video I need your HELP to Pitch "SPELLS WE WANT ADDED In Hogwarts Legacy 2". Comment below with your pitch and I'll possibly add it to the next video. Lumos.
I absolutely love the idea of the MC being branded a liar or even Professor Figg's murderer and thus having to either find ways to clear their name or be driven further down a dark path depending on player choices. Or even make a complete flip so a good side character turns dark or vice versa! The possibilities would be endless! Especially when Sebastian's fate could be tied in as well as a morality system in place!
Totally agree! A villain arc and darker storyline would be even more fantastic!

Here's all of my ideas for a sequel. 1. We finaly have a dragon mount, since it was known before, but wasn't meant to. I would love to ride on an Antipodean Opaleye. 2. All the characters will recognize u, regardless of different features from the 1st. 3. Before starting, u can add rather or not if you’ve turned Sebastian in; and the ending of the finale battle (open the repository, keep it a secret, or share with others when the time is right), as a means of continuing the story. Same for some of the side quests of rescuing animals for the folks in the Highlands. 4. Amit is officially the Ravenclaw companion. 5. There's an underwater vivarium in the RoR for your pet creatures that live there. 6. We met with the selkie merpeople of the black lake, just like Harry did. It'll b like our relation with the centaurs only no hostility. 7. Quidditch is back with the addition of choosing any position u want just like with the houses. Instead of always playing the seeker.

I like it. Makes sense to have a bunch of adults villianising you and telling you how much they know better. Also, my additional pitches would be:
-actual Merlin.
-what happened under the castle with the super secret ancient magic is a complete secret so, naturally, the whole school knows.

We might have to escape the ministry of Magick holding us for examination because we can see the ancient magick.
This is a brilliant idea.
The most recent stats show slytherin was the most popular house so there definitely interest.
I reckon they'll get the budget to expand the morality implications of choices throughout the next story.
One of the big criticisms was that the choices didn't really matter but 2 could correct that
The sequel should def have branching pathways depending on what our characters picked in the first game. Sending Sebastian to prison turns him spiteful and our villain. Keeping ancient magic and not sending seb to Azkaban should allow us to become villains together. So many choices it’s exciting
Personally I hope for a chance to become the Master of the Elder wand. Story and lore wise the developers can get away with it. But yeah I agree with the possibility of becoming the villain ❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊
Just subscribed. Your idea makes very good sense as the primary story arc. The more I think about it, the more I like it. I do hope the developers hear this and act favorably upon it.

@@XpectoGO if they do include such a plot I wonder if the ministry as a whole would condemn our character of if it would be a targeted effort of a few people high up in the ministry. Would be nice to have some insider support like we did with lodgok in hogwarts legacy. Another way they could do a villain character would be to allow us to control different characters like in halo 2 for example with arbiter and master chief.
I hope they let our character date in Hogwarts legacy 2 please

@@XpectoGO for that line of thinking, I was considering spells for dark wizard opponents - protego diabolica, taboo, morsmordre, impedamenta, confoundo, fiendfyre, unforgivable curses.
For the auror character, spells like - protega maxima for protecting an area rather than a person - like civilians clumped together, episkey (instead of using potions), expecto patronum (for obvious reasons), homenum revellio - maybe an upgrade option to revllio? or Aurorae and incarcerous - which would be a non lethal way of capturing enemy dark wizards.
I really want to play as a dark wizard.
I like this idea and I think it could work imo. Story wise I haven't had time to think on how I would like it to go but, I do have a few gameplay/mechanics ideas. I'll save those for when you dedicate the video to that portion of the game seeing this time is focused on storytelling

I hope to have a complete morality-bounty sistem in the new chapter.. I love this game, i complete it 6 times and reach level 40 with each character of each house... But i think it's incomplete...
Less merlin trial and more secondary mission, but with more i don't mean a bigger number of them, just the variety - typology of those. The quidditch with 3-5 match each season, and of course a bit more easter egg like the chamber of secret and the possibility to visit it.
I think we should start as a new character. If not we'd have to start with all the spells and perks already unlocked, or they would have to come up with an excuse to justify the MC forgetting all the spells and loosing their power at the begining
This video is incredible. I've always wanted a full morality system in Hogwarts legacy. But this video has truly hyped again for the sequel. I know most of this might not happen but anything less could be a disappointment. Great video as always Retro 👍
I love that idea, but I want it more like Fable, where you can choose to be a good person or an evil person.
So, my pitch maintains the idea of us being a villain NARRATIVELY. But we still choose (with a morality system) to embrace the villain label the Ministry wrongfully puts on us(evil path) or clear our name (good path)
Oh I think the the secret should be Kept from every one.
Would make sense since Potter was looked at as a Villian and had to go into hiding. This would be great and it would be a nice touch if Sebastian came back the MC out go into hiding.
I'm not sure I want to be a villain. I would love to carry on from the story we have but with new area's to explore. The idea of a villain is good though.
Hey James love the idea of our character being branded as the villian but also givin us the choice to clear our name or not if i may i would also like to expound on this idea what if when a npc would come up and talk to us or hand us a quest that we could respond as the hero or the villan but whatever responses we choose the npc will remember what we chose to do if we did the right thing and helped them out of whatever situation maybe they grant you different spells gear or items we couldn't get before if we treated them poorly maybe they become hostile and try to attack us or even hunt us down during the game also i think a change of Scenery is a must new locations new places to discover like London or the ministry of magic would be great also maybe if we are painted as a villan for Hogwarts Legacy 2 maybe we could start our adventure at Azkaban because the Ministry felt we was too big of a threat so we would have to break out 1 last thing lets talk Mechanics being able to SIT and admire the beauty and
abience of the game would be great lol also lastly this is me nitpicking but personally maybe we can find gillyweed and use it so we can go underwater and do quests maybe have a chance to talk to the mer people love the content James i have more ideas but I'm going to save them for when you go live much love ❤️
With all the questioning we do throughout the world, I think we will be some type of Auras. Especially where we help so many out in the game.
I'd love if they gave us a game where we can have jobs in the Ministry like Auror

Year 6 at school is NEWTs so we should find out what we want to do post hogwarts. (Maybe we leave school early) First part of the game is a full school year with tests and 2nd part is out in the world

I would definitely be interested in the possibility of falling darker or even becoming the villain and those who were once our friends uniting against us. A cooler more dynamic version of KOTOR or KOTOR2.
But I wouldn’t want to be forced down that path. I enjoy being the good side as well.
But if we were given options with clear consequences on being good or bad, I would play and replay and re-replay the crap out of that game just to experience the many alternatives.
I love the idea of people starting to be afraid of us. Or rumors spreading about us.
Maybe even get a reporter after us, questioning us about our decisions.
Have teachers and/or students or the local townsfolk turn on us and we have to navigate it all.
Something Dark Knight, in that we could be the villain, or we could have to pretend to be the villain just to save everyone from the real threat.
Wouldn't the debate over whether or not ancient magic was real be pretty easily settled when our character just proves it by demonstrating it in front of anybody who doubts it?
Villain story arc sounds very interesting make it multiplayer game with the rise of the death eaters sounds cool tbh

In Hogwarts Mystery, “R” was trying to overthrow the Ministry by using mind control with a Legilimence and a cursed item which the MC’s father was in control of. We also robbed and killed everyone!
AHHH "R" I forgot about them. This honestly could work!!
First!
Now then, I think whatever our decision was at the end of HL1 wound up being, we're going to be vilified by one segment or another within the wizarding community in general, and the Ministry of Magic in particular. If we opt to keep it secret, there will be those who feel it needs to explored and perhaps shared with other magical folk so as not to see it die out. On the other hand, if we do decide to come forward with Ancient Magic, there are going to be persons in very high places who will see that as a potential danger, perhaps providing too tempting a target for those who (like Ranrok before them) attempt to wrest the secrets of Ancient Magic from you and make it their own. So either way, our character is going to make some potent enemies, both within and outside the Ministry. I suspect we'll have to "take our show on the road", quite likely winding up in London or perhaps even some far flung location outside the UK entirely (can anyone say New York and MACUSA?) While this would take us away from the Hogwarts campus for nearly a full year, it certainly would qualify for "practical experience" on your transcript.

I’ve had the same idea of the ministry trying to take control the ancient magic. Order of the Phenix is by far my least favorite Harry Potter book because if found the character Umbrage to extremely flat and boring.
A better antagonist could bring the story to life, especially if the main character is painted as a villain, this ministry agent sees themself as the ‘hero’ and that justifies the actions we have to undo.
Also morality system, Knights of the Old Republic style.
They should make a prequel where you play as the founders

I disagree. I dont think the villain status should ever be forced. but i think if we wanted to become dark it should be a choice.
Personally I would make it a situation where we have a choice. Much like the old Knights Of The Old Republic games by Bioware. Letting us *choose* to play a Dark wizard is fine. *Forcing* us to play a dark wizard because the story requires it? Absolutely not.
I agree, but that's not what I said. At 4:48, my pitch is the ministry setting us up narratively as the villain. We can choose to embrace it(evil) or not to clear our name(good).

No I wouldn't say make us a villain but make so there an option to be. Like at a point the story where it looks like your character is going down that path. And your like holy hufflepuff this is dark. And your left with 2 choices good / evil
Exactly, we'd be able to choose whether to embrace the "villain" label placed by the Ministry(evil) or work to clear our name(good). Having choices to respond in a good or bad way to the evil from the Ministry

I want there to be a middle ground not just Good vs Evil, I really dislike such black & white story telling which in my opinion is what happened in HL. Isadora is evil & keepers are good ( Though I absolutely do not see the keepers as the good guys their incredibly arrogant especially Bakar & Rackham " Now that you think like us" comment made by Rackham before entering the repository)
I want the continuation of the main storyline of AM with far more depth to it. I want isadora's side of the story rather than an entirely on sided POV, the keepers were tight lipped & incredibly un forthcoming, they spin a one sided narrative presenting isadora as the one in the wrong.
They deflect our questions but expect us to take their word at once, they distrust us constantly especially Bakar & never bother to help us control or advance our power they have no interest hearing other people sides that don't conform to their own.
Sebasteins story should continue as well perhaps we could interrogate ashwinders who know about Annes curse or if theirs another Rookwood going about get answers. We could possibly bring this piece of information to Charles Rookwood see if he knows anything...then again the keepers have proved themselves to be entirely unhelpful.
As for how the 2nd instalment should go? let us create a BG for our character & not be this empty shell. I think having the ministry in the next one would be good seeing how a ministry official ended up dead before arrival, an ex auror is dead on top of their being a potential life/world ending event that happened right beneath the school on top of us having an ability to wield an obscure branch of magic....though world ending might be a stretch.
I can just picture their elitist faces, they'd be none to pleased that there's a 15 year old wielding something they don't have control of...which if the next game goes this route I can't be held responsible for what happens to said group or individuals.
Oh I can definitely see the MOM labelling us the villain or a few officials at the top, we would be an easy scapegoat for figs death hell maybe even pin Georges death on us to & running a smear campaign against us, though I will not be as anywhere near as merciful or layed back as Harry was ( if given that we're actually allowed to attack/kill NPC'S) I just hope the writing will be up to par & not full of plot holes or dumbed down.
I really want their to be a middle ground & have our choices matter & not be forced to be a villain. Forcing players to be the villain of the story would remove choice completely & if I'm being honest I felt entirely railroaded in the first game I do not want this to happen in the 2nd game.
If we get to attack the MOM it shouldn't be due to evil intentions what if it's something a kin to the takeover that happened in Deathly Hallows like the death eaters maybe the ashwinders or other officials kidnap our friends to use as barganing chips. I think crossed wands should take a bigger role & run contiuesly through out the next school year & maybe even have the students & teachers who believe us help prepare others for what's to come like OOTP have sebastein be the leader ( we've allready got enough on our plate)
