Ironically, you could just take a chunk of wood like that and drill holes in it (1/4", 8" deep) , so the bees chew into the wood instead of your house. Stop killing our native wildlife.
Drill some holes in wood, put jar under central hole, maybe use some epoxy or something to adhere jar lid and make it modular. Now can you tell me what a carpenter bee is, im feeling lazy, are they bad hombres?
It's literally a jar attached to a 4x4 with holes 3 to 5 holes. The bottom hole is made so they can get in but not out because of their wings. This is not rocket appliances. Also some string and a hook loop to hang!
Thanks for actually showing them in action. That was pretty cool.
No problem 👍
Awesome idea. These things hurt like a MUG to get stung by too.
Getting stung by a bee species that the males don't even have stingers and the females are non aggressive leads me to believe nature doesn't like you.
They don’t sting, but they sure have a powerful bite!

Considering the soy face in your picture I'm going to take a guess you don't and never will own property.
No link to where I could buy this or instructions to make it myself?
Ummm. Does this look like a complicated concept to you? The instructions are “Watch the video and then build one of them.” Lol
