- This pooja is a worship of Mount Kanchenjunga and five deities of Sikkim of the five directions in Sikkim. It is like a harvest festival in which fruits and grains also intoxicants made from millets are offered to the Sikkimese deities and it is believed that these deities in return bless the land and its people with abundance.
And It is believed that they bless the people with success in all their endeavours.
This pooja has been done from the time of Gyalwa Lhatsun Chenpo , a Buddhist saint who initiated this worship almost four centuries ago .

Wow! Very interesting ceremony. I wish the priest's conversation was subtitled in English for the benefit of certain groups of viewers. The monks appear to be speaking amongst themselves in a language other than the priest's pronouncements. Visual was great still. Seattle, USA.
