@@Studio-solutions-com yes please! Jam videos of it in action with a good monosynth...do u often just turn the cameras on and jam and see what comes out, but don't edit?

I just added a second 960, and three 962's, quite useful when you start linking them together. trying to find a clock multiplier/divider DIY kit/PCB that is flexible enough to handle my needs, and looking at more sequential switches that are fuller featured. over all, nice, nice kit for the price for sure. cheers! happy new year
I was looking forward to this part, I picked up a Hermod last week so not in the market for a sequencer but was interested in seeing what you were doing with it
I've been tempted by a Dark Time for quite a while... I just fancied playing with an analogue sequencer... and the price of these is too good to turn down! How's the Hermod??
@@Studio-solutions-com it’s great as it can power the Keystep too. That and the Digitakt made for an expensive January! Worth it though. I will do a video once I get to know it better
hi lovely video. today i got the 962 which is not a must but great to have with this seq. a quick question tho, i go from keysteps pro clock out into 961 shift with 24 ppq but the clock on the 961 trippin every time...its all over the place. the lights blinking so fast that i can't almost recognize them do you know why is that? if i go from the pico system 3 clock out into shift then the clock absolutely cool and works fine. any idea why keysteps clock doesn't work with that 961??
Hey, glad you're having fun with it! Whats it like if you slow it down to 4ppq?? Arturia clock rates are trying to cater for a broad host of equivalents... I think it spits out clock time for Doepfer at 4ppq, which is one step clock..??
Hi Krs-T! Thanks for this video - I'm still learning mine and this has tought me couple of new tricks to try. I still haven't got the 962 yet but it'll come eventually!
@@Studio-solutions-com Still not ordered it (the 962, that is)... I really should - it's not that expensive. Thanks again for this video - back for another look and another lesson!
@@AndyVonal aaah mate, you should if you can, it just opens up so much more..! I was thinking earlier about how I could just tie two tracks together and have an 8 and a 16 step sequence running at the same time, like an arp on the 8 steps and a longer melody loop across the 16?
Loved this video as I'm a complete beginner to modular but have just set up a very similar rig - 960, Neutron but I run one of the 960 lanes into a Doepfer A-160 Ratchet module then into the Neutron. Just wondering whether the 962 would fit in somewhere to extend the sequence steps. Have you tried this?
@@Studio-solutions-com I've only just bought the 960 and I'm still learning but I have one of the lanes going into the Doepfer to get the ratchet effect and the others just running normal 8 steps. Very nice to see the 960 & 962 in action. Noted and on future shopping list. (very future shopping list but there all the same)
They're remarkably "playable" Chob, much more than I was expecting for such a sequencer :-)
Cool sounds.
Many thanks!
hi krusty just checking this out... my kind of sequencer...
