Ingredients: 1. Red (masoor) dal - 1 cup 2. Tomato pieces - 1 cup 3. Tomato juice - 1 cup 4. Coconut milk - 1/2 cup 5. Onion pieces - 1/2 cup 6. Green chilies slit - 1/2 cup 7. Garlic pieces - 1 tbsp 8. Ginger grated - 1 tbsp 9. Cumin seeds - 1 tsp 10. Kasuri methi - 1 tbsp 11. Coriander powder - 1 tsp 12. Cumin seeds powder - 1 tsp 13. Lemon juice - 1 tbsp 14. Milk cream (meegaDa) - 1 tbsp 15. Red chili - 3 16. Green chili 17. Cloves - 3 18. Cinnamon - 1 19. Bay leaf - 2 20. Turmeric 21. Coriander Procedure: 1. In a pressure cooker, heat milk cream, cinnamon, cloves and bay leaf. 2. Add washed red dal, tomato juice and coconut milk. 3. Boil up to 3 whistles. Let it be on sim for 5 min. 4. In a frying pan, fry cumin seeds, ginger, garlic and red chili pieces with milk cream. 5. Add green chili, onions and turmeric. 6. After about 5 min, add tomato pieces and cover with a lid. Cook for up to 5 - 6 mins on medium heat. 7. Add cumin seeds powder, coriander powder and boiled red dal. 8. Add lemon juice and Kasuri methi. 9. Cook for up to 10 mins. 10. Add coriander.
