this is why i like airy’s anticlimatic “falling off the stairs” type of death it’s just alot more realistic and the way it leans more towards the bad ending is alot more original and bold to me

Oh, man. I was scared to click on this in fear I'd think too much about ONE and get emotional, and let me tell ya: My fear was definitely valid. This is incredible, the smug self-righteous emotions coming from Airy is so profound and clear. The colors and perspectives add to the drama of the characters so well, each shot feels so vital to their situation and personalities and helps make their emotions even clearer. Incredible animation with an incredible understanding of feeling!

I absolutely love the fact that this doesn't make any sense. I don't know what one is and I think that somehow adds to the experience of this animation. Loved the black void transitions with the characters eyes though

This feels like Group 1 (as in the first season of ONE with Julien and Oscar and stuff) Airy before he let go. Aware of his impact. Not all that apathetic, but still uncaring towards life outside of his own realm. This feels like some sort of... alternate route. If Airy held on to his humanity (objectivity???). His pure, human desire to be passionate. Because passion drives love. It drives hate. In ONE, Airy's last bit of passion lies in his competition. But in this animation? He knows he's away from his rightful place. He knows Liam is too. And he only knows because he can feel it. Airy was there so long that he stopped feeling it. But in this animation?
Airy still knew it.
