After buying this stunning piece sometime about a year ago, and never fully learning it until only around a month ago. I can say with full certainty that this is a piece of the highest quality and work, it is much harder than it looks, and not just with technique and grip, but expressiveness, the skill of the MUSICian. I absolutely love this, and I hope to always remember it and have it in my arsenal of tear jerking pieces. Thank you Arnor, for your skill and dedication, and for this wonderful piece that holds so much value in my heart!
It’s been three years since this was released and I still have yet to see a better marimba composition. This dude wrote this when he was 17/18. It blows my mind that someone as young as Arnor can write something this beautiful.
Almost no-one notices the time, effort, and patience needed to make a song, actually be able to hit its hard notes instantaneously and actually do it all at once, keep up the good work!
I remember back in high school, my friends were practicing section 3 and 4 all the time after school. I’m not too well versed in marimba pieces, but out of all the ones I know, this is hands down my favorite

The way this song stayed alive, for him to expand it and make it a duet. That’s a beautifully ironic way for such a pretty piece to come to light.
