Presume we this rail is now taken up it can not be used on addition to a drive away

The Sky canopy can’t be used a a Driveaway awning but you can attach a Driveaway awning to a normal rail (like we have in the van)

@@LeanneHendy unfortunately you would have to choose whether you have want one awning on or the other. You wouldn’t be able to have both on at the same time.

​@AttwoollsCoUk I can't see any reason in theory why it can't be used as a driveway (sort of).
Buy a standard drive-away kit, drill 3 or 4 equidistant holes in the figure of eight track (large enough for tent pegs to go through, then, when the awning is removed from the vehicle as normal, using the drive away kit, just peg the figure of eight from the drive away kit down to the ground (through the holes you drilled) keeping the tension against the guy lines to hold the awning in place.
I haven't tried it but it should work, as long as its not very windy of course

@@Springer5 That would he an option but I was referring to the fact it wouldn’t be standing upright when you drive away. You have the option of leaving it on the ground but there is the risk that it could get damaged or blown away in the wind.
