@@MsSoccergirl94 for starters big thunder mountain was built in 80s, so they're not going to have to change to begin with. They're probably going to film in locations that predates the 80s, they're hardly going to be on the frozen ride??
sc I was kind of worried they wouldn’t be able to do a Disney park episode since the show takes place in the 80s and some of the attractions during that decade are no longer exist. I’m glad they choose to do it at Disneyland since most of the classic attractions are still there and running but they won’t show everything since this episode is mostly a tribute to the movie vacation.
It's VERY ironic that this "Vacation" tribute episode of The Goldbergs is set at Disneyland. The original idea Harold Ramis had for Vacation was for it to be set at Disneyland. But Disney wouldn't allow it, saying they're open 365 days a year. So they created the fictional Walley World to take its place.
I was in Disneyland that day I heard of Jeff Garlin sightings wish I saw the Goldbergs. The Big Thunder Mountain is the Wildest ride in the wildsrness Hats or Glasses best remove'em😂
@Marietta Kelly Not really, it has nothing to do with Galaxy's Edge being a "disgrace" which is your opinion. ABC TV Shows have been doing this for decades. ABC is part of Disney. Whether is be Disneyland or Disney World. Many ABC shows have been filmed at Disney Parks. Full House, Family Matters, Boy Meets World, Modern Family, the list goes on.
The show still takes place in the 80s even though this season should actually be the start of the early 90s because the real Adam Goldberg was was still going to school during the early 90s so the only Star Wars attraction that they will have in Disneyland during that time is star tours. But recently actor Sean giambrone did a promotional video with another actor for galaxy’s edge (probably on his day off from shooting the show) since Sean and his character Adam are both Star Wars fans.
@@gabel6630 well I mean technically it is, now is it a fun land? thats upto you, but it is a failed land, so much so that the person who manages the parks in the USA stepped down, its one of their least visited lands, and has actually costed them money that they will see investment in a few years which they hoped would of been a few months, you can actually look this type of stuff up, Disney themselves think it has been a failure

@@gabel6630 yeah you're right on that, but it was a pretty bad opening and had pretty bad reception not just a financial failure, they didn't excel like they hoped for, take the hogwarts lands that were added to universal, thats what they wanted to match and exceed and didn't even get close, i'm a star wars fan and without being bias this was a failure on more than just financial expectations
I like the new one but even I'd say this is better than the actual Vacation sequel. Sad John Candy isn't with us to reprise his role and Randy Quaid is in trouble and can't show up for a cousin Eddie cameo.

Disney world is bigger. But but some rides are just bad in Disney parks. Don't ask me what rides I don't remember names Only been to Disney world. Well epcot, animal kingdom, and what ever park has Cinderellas castle in it. Thos was a while ago so I know some rides have been replaced and new additions were added.
"And everyone that come here is just happy." Except for the hundreds of wining kids who are either afraid of a ride or complaining from hour long lines. 😂😂

My Mom and I don't like the shows that are on today. and i trying why that is. I love the Cartoon Reboot that they are doing like with Disney Duck Tails that i watch in the 80's. but every thing else whet down hill fast and it crash and every one die. yeah i think i need a Disney Vacation to make me happy again.

WDW parades are really old and dusty and the choreography is really slow and simple because it's too hot and humid for the performers to do much more than shuffle-shuffle-step. Disneyland is in SoCal where there is more entertainment industry talent and much better weather that allows them to do stunts and elaborate choreography. That's what Christie Brinkley is noticing as a professional.
I used to know a guy who managed to get his retro inspired indie title onto the show. One of the kickstarter backer tiers gave out NES carts with the game on it, and i think that got the attention of the prpducers of the show.
