The smell is a real thing. It's very nostalgic! I remember when I was grabbing base and jungle and team rocket packs from the shelf at the stores. Man those were the days!
Yep. Smell is one of the strongest links we have to time travel. Never take those experiences for granted!

Love that you guys are always supporting one another! Also, Evolving skies packs are 15+ dollars a pop now. They just keep getting more expensive. So I don't blame you guys for wanting to shift from sword and shield in these.
The amount of heat those little lucky charm packs hold could melt the ice caps.

Revs gold packs.. so beautiful, almost as beautiful as our Vault top tier! RAINBOW! My kid and I first starting in Sword and Shield right around evolving skies. We had no idea how good that set was. lol
I say NO. Last time I order it got lost, this time I ordered a 5.0 and they sent me a 4.0!!! So dissapointed in these experiences

I started in black and white as a kid but then stopped until scarlet and violet era! Wish I kept a black and white thing sealed but I know 8 year old me was ripping and then not protecting the cards
Started collecting in the end of heartgold soulsilver era/ beginning of black and white. The sets I remember opening the most were DP Secret Wonders, HGSS Unleashed, and BW Noble Victories. I wish i could open these sets again...

I first started collecting back in '99 with base set, but as a kid it never occured to me to keep said cards. I've only JUST started my collection anew with Scarlet & Violet, specifically Twilight Masquerade's release, although I've been very luck with my pulls from Obsidian Flames too.

I started collecting when my older cousins gave me their collections in 2000, from there i really started with the Neo series, particularly Destiny and Discovery. Collected all the way through diamond and pearl, then disappeared until sword and shield.
I started collecting all the way back from the Base Set era, took a break a little bit after Neo and came back full throttle since the end of BW and the beginning of XY.

I collected the OG base era. Grateful to have that memory of opening base set & team rocket packs. Wild! 😜
first started opening pokemon at school when base set was out absolutely loved being picked up after school straight to the corner shop and getting a pack or 2. remember pulling base set charizard and took it straight to school the next day to show my mates so nostalgic. keep up the great work man ❤
I started collecting during the ex era as a kid but didn’t start back up until end of sword and shield around lost origin.
My kids got me into it during the sun and moon era, a simpler time when we could buy xy for retail and black and white was a reasonable price. I miss those day a bit but I love the alt arts now.
The first time was when I was younger and was the original base set, fossil, and jungle. Then, I got back into it in the sword and shield era with my youngest.

I actually noticed the difference in the smell of cards yesterday when I was going through my collection from my childhood but that might be because of all my slobber and snot from when I was a kid.

S and S, Crown Zenith. It's the set that got through my dad's passing. It was also the first set that got me back into pokémon. You ,Rev, Deep Pocket, and CTR have got me through a lot this past year. I thank you so much for what you do. We all need a little fun and love in life. You guys do that.

My Vault City packs just came in today.....dont let me down lol. For when I started, my memory is jungle and fossil but I do have one base set wrapper and cards for 1 pack of base set in my childhood collection. So I opened one pack of base set as a kid. I did also open a couple Rev's 5.0s, with combination of low end S.V. packs and PoGo, I'll probably wait till further along this gen to get more. I dont even see 151 or Paldean Fates in anyone's packs, it's either S.V. Base, O.F., P.R., T.F. or T.M., with a PoGO, so it's on the low end of value pack wise even. It went from roughly $20 for chance at a vintage pack, to almost $40. and that's what people I think are seeing. It's a gamble yes, but the raffle price doubled.
