I'm happy you also didn't like The Ever King. It fell so flat for me. It was the second book I read with the book club and loved A Kiss of Iron. But I was like nah, Eric does not do it for me and I just don't care about this plot. Gave it 2 stars and when I looked at the fable app everyone in the club was eating it up and I was like oh no... haha
Yeah you are not alone friend! 😂 sad it didn’t work for us but I also loved a kiss of iron! I really want to read the next book but it’s like 700 pages so it’s intimidating me right now
I need to reread the beautiful and the Damned so I can read the 3rd book here soon. never got it when it was in hardcover, now it won't match my other 2. Still need to read HOFAS...
scared bc so many people say they liked the first two books... and don't talk about the third and the fourth...

the more i sit on HOFAS, the more i'm disappointed by the conclusion 😭it'll probably enjoy a 4 star from me too and i'll move on with my life hahaha
Yeah I agree.. the more I think about it for me it's drifting to a 3 star. There were so many more things that could've happened with characters we wanted to see instead of Ithan and Tharion...
