When you have attachment issues and realise the person who makes you smile doesn’t feel the same way about you
i love him so very much, we dated before a couple months ago, he was my everything and i was his. he ended up telling me he lost feelings because i had changed and wasn’t good enough for him. i fell into a depressive state not leaving my bed for hours and failing all my classes ready to give up. i would see him at school and he would look very uncomfortable to be in the same room as me. 2 months passed and it was my birthday and he added me back and apologized for everything. he explained to me that when we were together he was was suffering from his depression and anxiety and was overthinking so much that he was able to convince himself i didn’t actually love him and that we actually mean’t nothing to him. i took him back. it’s been 4 months, i love him more than ever, but i can’t make a relationship with him again because i fear it will happen again. he blames himself for leavening me all those months ago and i just... i can’t truly forgive him. it sounds selfish but i can’t love him the way i used too again.

'i've always loved the pain,without i wouldn't still be here" is a thought i've had for a while...i think about toxic friendships, toxic relationships, toxic and trauma filled households that some of us have grown up in, or even in the most common and easy case, pain caused by overthinking. Its always been painfull, but like most things pain is an emotion and like all emotions we can get "addicted" to it or it gives us a sense of "comfort" bc you've know it for so long that it just the pain is just...a feeling, it doesn't impact or change us anymore bc, if u enter a relationship already in pain then when they leave..you don't feel changed because pain reaches a certian maximum, all the way up into your heart until there isn't much room for anything else or well for some us, anyone else.
(but hey this is just a thought) :)... :/....... :')
