though it might seem counterintuitive to newbies, daylight is actually ideal. cops are busier and usually aren't watching the street as carefully, noise is drowned out by traffic, better visibility, etc etc etc.

I have a big question. But if graffiti is illegal in many places, how do many people make videos while doing graffiti in illegal places without risking that from that video they can use the IP of the account or the data, trace it back to you and arrest you?
They have bigger fish to fry
they cant be bothered to find everyone, plus yk you could always use vpn's and stuff but i doubt these people even bother with that because they arent gonna be arrested anyways

that's your viewpoint I like watching graffiti on TH-cam it's fun, and this a little portion of what he does. he gets up way more off camera
i kinda get where you're coming from, graffiti used to be inherently mysterious to regular people. with the digitalization of everyone and everything they're doing, it's only natural that graff follows that trend. i personally think it has been good for the culture, a lot of young talent gets brought into the scene this way. hell, that's how i got into it about 6 years ago. by your viewpoint, i'll assume that you're older than me. there's a good chance you or your friends were clued in by graffiti movies/magazines of the time. of course those were less accessible and known about, but is there really that big of a difference? modern graff has been a popularity contest since its conception, whether it's on the wall, on paper, film or the internet.
