They really don't seem to do Hype very well. They think remaining silent and secretive creates hype - Pro tip: It doesn't.
The Wreck-it Ralph Season is truly where GameLoft wrecked Disney Speedstorm, between having to renew the Golden Pass system twice a season instead of once, upgrade coins replacing the franchise-specific upgrade parts, half of the Wreck-it Ralph racers being mute, more upgrade packs that require spending money, and the mid-season racer not being released until likely the day the challenge requiring him is available. I still have some tokens in my inventory and I've been holding back on spending them because I want to spend them on a way to unlock Kermit.
I really want the next season, the Inside Out season that ties in with Inside Out 2, to be an improvement, especially since Miss Piggy is planned to be the mid-season racer for that season. If GameLoft doesn't take the feedback from their fans more seriously, they're going to have to answer to Miss Piggy, and she is not someone to mess with. In the first three Muppet movies, she did a lot of the fighting, saving Kermit from a mad scientist, stopping Nicky Holiday from stealing the Baseball Diamond, and taking down a thief who stole her purse.
Gameloft won't listen to us. I bet they're making a lot of money with the double Golden Pass spenders. Plus I know they'll "listen" to us and "fix" some issues just so we'll cooldown.

he will appear at the start of season tour 4 - and he will be a paid for character and 1 new muppet will appear every season
I expected events tied to him this past Friday, but Angel popped up instead. I guess his events will just show up when he does.

I don't like time trials for midseason charcters. Everyone should be able to unlock them, especially because they are constantly asked during the season tours, so if only 5% of players can get them it's not fair at all. I hope for Kermit we all can easily unlock him and level him up to level 20!
I think Kermit will be released on Friday, along with the new chapter.

@ceejay4486 The Muppets definitely deserve a season of their own. In addition to Kermit and Miss Piggy, I can easily see Fozzie, Gonzo, and Animal as racers. I can also see the Muppet Studio as their racetrack, adding a Studiopolis theme to Disney Speedstorm.

After that Golden Pass change news controversy, Gameloft are no longer marketing the game at all, they only drop something when it's already add on game. Today they decide to talk about Mulan Kart Deluxe on all social media, even so Its already on shop for like 6 or 7 weeks lol
Fairly certain Kermit will come out the same day as the part he is needed opens. A really bad thought, the requirements to get him require high level newer racers, or just mid season ones that near never get shards, *again like eve* forcing players to either buy boxes or miss his node route and the 12 ralph shards at the end.
It's now Thursday evening, a trailer for Kermit came out a few hours ago saying Download Now.
I boot up Speedstorm, and no sign of Kermit!

I will not try to get mad or bash on gameloft but we need to talk about Kermit event and announcement teaser like we don't know how this happens

I hope Multiversus non fall in the same status are now SpeedStorm... i remeber play back last year we are in bot close beta and open beta, Multiversus is as well a funn game withas well a BP in it... instead of SpeedStorm you can unloke character via playing the game and in the BP you obtain only cosmetics, i realy hope Multiversus susside becose right now im very bored and i dont now wath i play...
@dorisa879 Honestly, I wish Warner Bros. were owned by someone other than David Zaslav. Then WB can have its own racing game akin to the Mario Kart series and Disney Speedstorm. Heck, some of the people on TvTropes' Disney Speedstorm WMG page (including myself) have come up with ideas for what WB franchises could be in the game in the third-party section.

Honestly this whole season feels rushed... Or incomplete. Honestly I have no idea what Gameloft devs are smoking at this point. It definitely feels like they just gave up on the game.

I feel like GL put a lot of their marketing effort in S4 & S5 (makes sense since it’s the F2P launch & holiday season), and now it’s almost non-existent. They’re stretching themselves too thin imo.
If this no voice thing is going to consistently be a thing for now on, I feel like they at least owe us the transparency to understand exactly why that is the case. P.s. when’s the next stream?
I think from now on if a season has 5 main characters we will only get 1 mystery racer. If it has 4 main characters we will get 2 mystery racers. So if Inside Out has 5 racer we will only get 1 character.

The Epic forr Kermit could easily have been Kermit's old nemesis Doc Hopper.
They announced him today. His normal performer, Matt Vogel, is involved as a voice for the character, implying they'll also have Eric Jacobson as Miss Piggy.

If Kermit isn't getting a voice, and the backlash was that bad for King Candy and Fix-It Felix... I honeslty am not surprise that they aren't really hyping or talking about him. At this point, I now actually want that Node Requirement to change or Auto-Unlock.
Also... I can't believe we are already in the 20s in May now. To be fair, I had a really BAD week last week. Hopefully things go well in gaming and life this week. I am excited for the new Season in Fortnite at the end of the week, and I am incredibly in the mood for Forza Horizon 5 too with the Horizon Retrowave Update.
Where is Kermit?
My guess is he's gonna be in Season Support Box III with Ursula (cause I noticed her in the race requirements too despite not being in the other boxes). Hopefully he gets an Unlock Box cause RNG is not my friend 😅
Hey, I’m still relatively new (this is the first season I legitimately played), how do mid season events work? Do you just play a race and unlock shards for the character like the star chasers or is it different?
During Season 1-5 we have Regulated Time Trials Cup where you won a specific quantity of shards/rewards based on your position, the top 25% (Recent top 15%) would at least win 10 shards to unlock the racer. On S6 they done different with Eve, they made a special LTE that required a bunch of Rare/Midseason characters to won 10 shards and unlock the racer, follow up to a Time Trial Cup (Not Regulated, you need to have Eve)

I doubt that Steven Whitmire will return to voice Kermit in this game since he got fired years ago. But, I don't care. I wish Steve Whitmire would reprise his role as Kermit.
I prefer the new method since the time trials were mainly catered to whales who have characters already at Level 50 to get the best time possible
I just don't appreciate how this season just seems very incomplete and lacks in communication towards players. If a Kermit race is happening in just a few days, then Gameloft SHOULD be aware that players need Kermit just to enter the race for next chapter. They are just being lazy, honestly.
I'm waiting for kermit the frog to appeared on the game and does gameloft not answer, what's going on, of this arkward situations?

Gameloft doesn't want the notoriety otherwise they would have to be accountable for the monetization practices. If the game gets too popular the players get influence on what happens to the game.
