I feel like writing this because I am worried about my country. India is planning to build a dam on Barak river in Tipaimukh, Manipur. The environmental disaster that will follow will be devastating for both India and Bangladesh. Don't get me wrong, I am all for renewable energy, and rural population of India needs it badly, specially NorthEast. But this project will kill Barak river, destroy forests, fish population, and will end river dolphins of Barak. I simply can't take sides.
