@@thanksmaybe4103 Corporate pays better but they’re always looking to cut stores/employees and have the authorized retailers pickup the slack, making your job less secure as the company may decide to close your store or eliminate your position. To me this means corporate is a better fit for individuals with a more diverse work experience and authorized is a better fit for those seeking long term growth opportunities at the entry level

    • @JV-zw2yc

Third parties don’t pay NEARLY as well as corporate. You can make the more money as a sales rep at corporate, than a store manager at a third party. Don’t listen to what the other guy said about growth and a third party. Yes it’s easier to move up at a third party, but that’s because nobody seeks those positions. Also there’s way more actual opportunities for advancement in corporate. Like there’s many different paths you could take within a company at corporate.
For example. At att you could go from retail sales to fiber sales or business. At a third party you’ll either move up to a manager, or be working in the actual corporate side of the business like Hr or payroll. You’ll make way more money at a direct corporate store though. Specially cause the traffic is way higher too.

_Just_ become a linemen and work your way from a contractor job to AT&T so you can stretch your work out _or_ sit around in a truck all day and get hours. Thats what they do here, usually during the restoration work after large fires like Napa or Paradise in California. They'll get their work done quick in one portion of the week and then spend the rest havin BBQ's around their trucks and lounging or napping the rest of the day or they'll stretch te work out that there's hardly any work at all per/day. They'll even let their lesser paid traffic control hang out if their not a jerk off crew, in fact most of the time their traffic controllers wonder what the hell they're even doing. If its during a fire season they do it *all summer* and into the fall 7 days a week, they hit overtime the first week which I am told is around 50 an hour or strait up BANK so they suck that shit like their mommas tit and flex their work as much as possible. Some guys will go to the dealer and buy a new car CASH. Dirty jokes, depravity and at the extreme _blowjobs in the splice trailers_ are the kind of things to expect. Speaking of splicing, thats a typical weekday job involving a lane closure aside from a downed pole which doesnt usually involve the BBQ's and the other fun stuff. But if your attached to the work at all, even as a contractor its not bad and pays well enough that you dont have to sweat looking at the bank account if you're a grown adult living within your means.

Great sales position. T-Mobile, att, spectrum and Verizon are all very good companies to start in retail sales. I’m at Verizon not att but it’s the same basically. You’ll make really good money in retail sales for these companies. I’d say Verizon is the best, then att and spectrum at 2nd then T-Mobile 3rd. But man it’s really easy money, specially if you’re good at sales. You don’t have to know anything at all about phones or technical specifications. You just need to know about sales. With that said it is very difficult to get into art or Verizon, you need years of experience, if not a degree. Also never apply to a third party franchise. They don’t pay nearly as well as corporate does. Ive been in this industry since 2016. And honestly it’s a great industry to work in, specially if you don’t have a degree. Easy money.

The reason for this is because at&t established a new work from home position called Mobility Sales & Service, so it's saving the company money. My store closed down, and I'm currently MS&S
